Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Oshawa

While journeying from the UK to Port Perry, we were fortunate to stay at the Horse Farm Luxury Estate for a week in September. Situated next to a riding school, the tranquil area was perfect for relaxation. Horses grazed in the paddock beside the house – their beauty admired from a distance as per the rule 'do not touch the horses'. The house's position was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, including Port Perry, with easy access to nearby highways for visits to Oshawa, Toronto, and even Niagara Falls. The spacious house had numerous amenities, such as a basement games room and a ground floor club area with a bar. A conservatory connected to a deck and hot tub. Anthony's great communication and assistance made our stay stress-free after a long journey. I highly recommend Horse Farm Luxury Estate for a comfortable stay in Port Perry.

Great basement apartment if you're looking for a place in the PAWO area. The host was very responsive to all my inquiries and gave me more information which was appreciated. The suite is spacious and clean, you can watch tv in the living room on a cozy couch and sleep in the comfortable bed. Everything you would need in the kitchen is available for you to use including complimentary coffee and tea. I would highly recommend staying here.

Very nice apartment and we felt very welcomed - the walk by the water and the area was beautiful. So nice and friendly and would love to stay again next time we stop by. Nice furniture, bedding , comfortable bed , bathroom - everything we needed was available for us to use.

Great Long Weekend Close to Home Booked for Labour Day. Wanted something close to home as everyone was showing up on different times and days. I had been to Mussleman Lake numerous times as a child. So had all of us. Great location, peaceful we had so much fun. Can’t wait to do it all over again at Amir’s place.

We've stayed here twice while visiting family and had a great experience both times. The house is spotless, quiet, and well-stocked, with a great kitchen (gas stove, Keurig, ZeroWater filter) and a cozy open living area. Seasonal decorations and thoughtful touches like remote-controlled candles made it feel welcoming. The "Nice Nice Nice" house manual was easy to spot, with helpful info like the Wi-Fi password. The listing was completely accurate, and communication with the host was smooth. The neighborhood is peaceful but close to good food like Big Bites Shawarma. We'd definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing relaxing couple of days at Shawn’s place, the unit had just been thoughtfully renovated and was beautiful and comfortable, right on the water, we’ll definitely be back again

We had a wonderful stay at Rafeena’s place. The apartment was incredibly clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen decently equipped. High ceilings and large windows made a space feel airy and bright. The extra touches (fresh fruit, drinks) were a lovely touch after a long drive. Rafeena was very responsive and friendly. We highly recommend this bnb.

Home away from home. Beautiful serene location. Edwina and Mike’s place is lovely, cosy and clean. The cupcakes were 10/10. Bedding was super comfortable. Edwina and Mike were quite accommodating and very responsive. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I stayed in the unit for two months, and we absolutely loved our experience at Damian and Jesse’s place! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that they’re the kind of hosts who genuinely care. They were always available, super responsive, and quick to resolve any concerns we had. The space itself was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was how proactive they were—regularly checking in to ensure everything was going smoothly. Another incredibly helpful touch was the detailed guide they put together, providing step-by-step instructions on how to locate and operate all the appliances. One of the most thoughtful gestures was how they consistently helped clear the snow from our walkway, entrance, and even our car. Such a big job during the winter, and it meant so much to us. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be staying here.

Had a great stay at Richard’s place. The space was clean and comfortable, and the hot tub was a perfect way to relax. Check-in was easy, and Richard was a great host, always quick to respond. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay. Would definitely come back!

The location was great too—close to everything but still nice and quiet. I also appreciated the little touches like the extra towels—it made the place feel really inviting. Grant and Jo were friendly and provided lots of great recommendations. The Lakefront getaway is perfect, it’s beautifully decorated and has everything you could possible need. We loved hanging out in the backyard with Pete the potbelly pig, exploring the trails with our doggo and my husband caught some nice fish off the dock. We will definitely be back!

What an amazing stay. A perfect little retreat close to everything you need. The service was incredible.....my only regret is that I didn't stay longer. I will definitely keep this on "my list" for in the future.

Ashley's cottage was beyond our expectations with every well-thought detail making it a warm, rustic, authentic and cozy experience. It was also very beautiful in the snow, with our kids watching the snow fall from the windows next to their beds in the loft. The hosts had thought of everything, including things that we never knew we needed - blankets close to the couch to snuggle up for movie night, popcorn in the pantry, cheese sticks in the refrigerator, etc. While we were only looking for a place close to the ski hills for a few days, we ended up not wanting to leave the cottage much. It was a good thing that Uber Eats delivered to the place, which was very unexpected for us. All in all, this cottage was the most memorable Canadian winter home our family has stayed in. We would certainly hope to stay there again some day, perhaps for the next ski season!
