Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Oscoda Township

We had a fantastic stay here! The location was perfect—easy to access yet peaceful, providing the best of both convenience and relaxation. The amenities were great, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub, which made for a perfect way to unwind. The only thing we wished for was a queen-size bed in one of the rooms for those who had to share, but that was a minor detail in an otherwise wonderful experience. Overall, we highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!

Every year, three friends and I pick a place to stay for a weekend away. This was the first year where we actually spent more time at the place we choose than we normally do. The word “relaxed” was used so often and I think this is due to the warm, welcome atmosphere and the beautiful view we had. Everything was practically perfect for us! Sarah was great to work with and answered any questions we had. Would highly recommend!

Leanna’s house was the perfect spot to stay when we needed a short stay to help clean up a family members house from the terrible storm. I wish we were here on trip for pleasure, the house is in the perfect location in the middle of anywhere you could need to be!

Staying at Two Trees was the perfect fall weekend getaway for my husband, pup and I! The location was perfect to explore the Huron manistee National forest and do some hiking at the Lumberman’s memorial. We also went up to Alpena to try the breweries and the winery. We really enjoyed the Alcona brew haus in harrisville as well - they catered to my husbands allergies and had many vegetarian options for me! Their Oktoberfest was my favorite beer I tried. Our favorite part of the trip was staying at the cabin though - the beach access was amazing and we loved relaxing by the water or walking and rock hunting. The queen bed was also very comfortable and the house has all the amenities you could think of. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking to spend some time in the area, at the beach, or in the National forest!

Wow. Just wow! What a beautiful home! Our stay was just what we needed and more. It was so cozy, felt like a home away from home, Derek was an awesome host, house was beyond clean, beds were super comfortable, and it had very comfy furniture to relax in. They have done a fantastic job with this oasis on the lake.. I guarantee it will fit anyone’s needs and standards! Highly recommend… go ahead and book it, you won’t regret it! 5 stars without a doubt!

Had a great stay. It is a cozy little getaway. It was clean and cute. Lots of games inside for rainy days plus bonus games in the garage. Quiet neighborhood. We had no problems with anything. Thank you for letting us stay at your home.

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

Very nice house - feels like a home rather than a cabin/cottage. Very well furnished and stocked, with a great location as well. The layout of the house and property are great, plenty of indoor space and privacy if you have kids or are staying with a group. Huge backyard. Very nice sandy beach with another, even nicer, sandier beach less than a minute's walk away. Literally the best vacation home I have ever stayed at for this price. Highly recommend.

Jeffrey was a great and responsive host! The place was right near a lot of great restaurants and stores downtown Gaylord.

Scott was extremely kind and courteous, and was always responsive. He also gave us great local info and helped us when needed. Parking was very easy and there were no additional fees at any point. If you want to ski or snowboard, Thursday is the best day as the lift ticket is only $15. The room was comfortable and very easy to keep warm during our late-Winter trip where it snowed almost every day and temperatures rarely went above 20°F. The room had a fantastic view of the tubing and ski slope of the Ostego Resort, and it was an extremely short and easy to walk to the lodge or the shop to get lift tickets. We stayed here to attend a rally going on in Atlanta MI. It turned out to be a perfect location bc no matter what you needed from food to shopping was literally just minutes away. Accessing Atlanta, or the Canadian border, Petoskey and Traverse City were all very easy day trips to make. I was also pleasantly surprised how courteous everyone drove. Sherri’s place was so nice! Very cozy and clean. It had everything that you needed. Sherri was so nice and accommodating and very responsive. If you’re looking for a place in Gaylord, this is it!!
