Start right behind the house on hiking trails. The volcanic bike path (3 kms) and the Hirzenhain natural swimming pool (4 kms) invite you to activities. The Bonifatius route is also only a few km away. A highlight of the region is the Celtic world on the Glauberg, minutes by car. Enjoy an unforgettable stay!

We rent a beautiful 2-room apartment with kitchen and bathroom in the city center of Waechtersbach. The attic apartment was renovated a few years ago and impresses with a harmonious juxtaposition of old wooden beams and modern design with deep windows and a view of the countryside. The castle garden with the restored castle is opposite. The train connection is excellent (every 30 minutes to Frankfurt). Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance.

Gründau is conveniently located to the highway of the A66 between Fulda and Frankfurt ( 30 min) and also connected to the visit of surrounding sights. For example Büdingen, Gelnhausen or Bad Orb with your beautiful half-timbered houses. A private train goes to Büdingen or Gelnhausen. Hiking enthusiasts will find numerous hiking trails.

Enjoy your time in our stylish and lovingly furnished apartment. Our apartment has an open living/dining area with kitchenette, a separate bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
