Take a step back in time and stay in this unique, beautiful old stone house, set on a steep mountain slope, surrounded by woods and terraces, ideal for walkers and nature lover's. Captain's House

Traditional captains house restored with love and care only with traditional and ecological materials. The house has two units, we live upstairs and downstairs there is a self standing apartment with a double bed a sofa kitchen, bathroom and a terrace for exclusive use of guests and access to the garden. No Tv, no internet, no air conditioning. On request we provide breakfast and dinner. We are 4 minutes away (by foot) from the sea, the bars and restaurants of our small village.

This place is a “you have to see it to believe it” location. Never have I ever felt more at home in the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. The villa has such an incredible blend of rustic with modern amenities. I hope I am lucky to return back to this place one day.

We couldn’t have asked more for our holidays!! We had a great experience in Dimitris’ beautiful traditional house and I highly recommend it! It’s located in a peaceful location with great scenery where you could also go for hiking. The house was extremely clean and fully equipped it with everything. Dimitris also left us some treats and drinks which was highly appreciated! Many thanks again Dimitris for being such an amazing host, I loved how proactive you always were. Hope to visit you again.

I had a wonderful stay at Mrs Kallis Cottage in Piso Maria. Maria was a wonderful host looking after me and making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay as did Dalfy her dog every morning. The cottage is located on the south of the island in the mountains, which is a drive from the main ports of access, but it adds to the ‘detox’ element of your stay and I found it far more relaxing being in the mountains nearer to the authentic town of Ormos Korthiou than Gavriou or Mbatsi. Ormos Korthiou is beautiful and it is only a 30-40 minute drive to Mbatsi or Andros (Chora). The cottage itself is finished to a very high standard with a wonderful shower, gorgeous nespresso machine, and very comfortable bed. I very much appreciated all of the interior design of the property which you can tell has been finished with every detail in mind. I would highly recommend staying at Maria’s cottage in Andros without a doubt. Thank you, Angus 🧿

Very nice accommodation, clean, well-equipped, exactly as described. Typical Greek Cycladic house. The views are superb, panoramic with extraordinary moonrises. A car is to be expected but towns and beaches are 10, 15 min away. This Cycladic house is ideal for a relaxing vacation.

A pair of open doors frames a view of the outdoor area, revealing lush greenery and the coastline beyond. The stone pathway leads to a sunlit garden, and hints of the sea can be seen in the distance under a clear blue sky.

A quiet place, with all amenities you would expect in a house, and a beautiful view. We loved each day of our stay, and had no problems whatsoever. I would easily recommend this place to any couple wanting to spend a few days touring Andros island by car.

My children and I had a really wonderful week at Lyam's beautiful accommodation. It is not often that somewhere not only meets, but exceeds, your expectations. My son summed it up when he said 'this is the most beautiful place that you have ever taken us'! The views were stunning, super relaxed and everything that you need. Jason the property manager was brilliant, endlessly helpful, kind and gave great recommendations on beaches and restaurants. A beautiful place on a wonderful island - thank you so much Lyam!
