Beautiful cabin facing the snow covered Clyde river. Everything was amazing. 7 miles to the small town of Island Pond. We felt at home and like family during our stay. It has definitely become our favorite vacation spot. We can’t wait to come and enjoy it in the other seasons as well. We definitely will be coming back.

Very cute old farmhouse with just the right amount of upgrades to make it comfortable without losing charm. Good location close to East Burke. It snowed for our Thanksgiving stay making the place super cozy (but we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the fireplace). Bathrooms are huge!

We Stayed at James and Nella's place for the second year in a row. It is a cozy old farmhouse with a spectacular view. We are Nordic skiers and this was 15 minutes from Craftsbury outdoor center. James and Nella are great hosts. We found them to be very responsive.

Nice cozy place and nice host. May have to drive a bit to do certain activities, but it is worth it. The sauna is pretty cool too. Great value for price.

Cute spot right off the main route. Easy to get to and tucked perfectly into the woods, this is the best spot for a long weekend. The kitchen is stocked of everything you would need to cook for a few days, beds are comfy, games to keep you entertained. Would book again!

The farmhouse style home was cozy, very clean and in a picturesque, quiet location. Nick and Sara were easy to get in touch if we had any questions. Would highly recommend this property!

We spent a peaceful rainy April weekend here, and really enjoyed the birdsong and quiet woods around us. Christie was responsive and helpful. Hope to be back in the fall!

I shared this house with a few friends while skiing at Jay Peak and had a lovely stay. The electric fireplace kept us cozy and warm even in negative degree weather. The house was well stocked with everything you might need during your stay. Three bathrooms was great for our group so we could all quickly shower after a day on the slopes. It’s a bit far from everything, like a coffee shop or grocery store, so I definitely recommend bringing what you need as you can’t quickly run out to grab it. Also the road to the house was pretty icy (it had been snowing) so make sure your car is well equipped for a true Vermont winter! Overall loved the place.

We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of space this listing has. It fit all of us very nicely, and was quite peacful being tucked away in the pines. Great location if you need a place to stay if you are skiing at Jay Peak, only about 8 minutes away. There was a small grocery store about 4 miles down the road and a cozy little restaurant called Omakase only a couple minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

What a great spot! Located perfectly between Montgomery and Jay Peak. Tucked back off the main road in a lovely private community. Such a great place for family’s and dog friendly which is huge! Rich was great to work with as well. Very quick to respond. Thanks again Rich!

Lynn’s condo was clean and cozy. We enjoyed being able to ski in/out and walk to the waterpark and dinner. Our dog enjoyed daily walks along the xc trails. We had everything we needed for a memorable family getaway.

My wife and I were overwhelmed with the beauty of the surroundings. The host thought of everything that would or could be needed to make us feel like we were at home. From the moment we arrived we knew our time here was going to be very enjoyable. The next time we plan to visit Jay, Vermont, we will plan our trip around the availability of this property. The cabin was spotless, private, and in great location. We enjoyed skiing during the day and cooking ours dinner at the cabin. This was a relaxing getaway for all.

We loved our 3 night stay at this cozy condo on Burke Mountain! We enjoyed the easy access to the slopes, the wood burning stove, and a few awesome area restaurants recommended by Meredith! We hope to be visit again soon!

Unmatched location for ski in/ski out - feels like your family’s vacation home that’s seen multiple generations (it has for our family)! Be aware though - you definitely need 4-wheel drive to get up if there’s snow! Thankfully the kind woman in the base lodge loaned us her vehicle to get up the first day before our 4-wheel SUV made it up the next! Can’t wait to return next year!

What a wonderful stay we had at Burke Mountain! Our son was racing there so we made a family weekend of it. Terrilyn was super communicative and provided clear instructions from booking through checkout. The cottage was exactly as described and perfect for my husband, myself and our three children and our dog. The place was very well maintained and clean for a rental that allows pets, complete with cleaning pads for pups paws and towels for drying after being outside. It was so nice to not have a TV and instead sit by the fire, listening to music while our boys really enjoyed playing with the legos there as part of the games/entertainment. We loved being so close to the mountain. It was the perfect weekend stay for our introduction to Burke—we will be back!

This place is truly a dream getaway! Located just a quick five-minute drive from Jay Peak, it offers the perfect blend of convenience and cozy charm. If you're bringing your dog along, you'll love the scenic trails right out back—perfect for a peaceful walk or an adventurous hike. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to whip up meals, which made our stay even more comfortable. And the hot tub? Absolutely amazing—such a relaxing bonus after a day on the slopes or exploring the area. A special shoutout to our host, Haley, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-equipped stay near Jay Peak!

Exactly what we needed! We were in town visiting family for Thanksgiving, and Jeff's place was perfect. Cozy, clean and private, and close to everything we needed. Jeff was a fantastic host, super proactive and responsive. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Home was a great spot to stay for skiing at Jay. Jay Country Store was less than a minute ride for anything you may need. Home was as decribed. Clean home and comfortable beds. We cooked every night in the kitchen for dinner. We were allowed to stay longer day of check out which was great for our group to visit longer. We also did a walk at Jay Recreational Centere which was a 2 minute drive from the house. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks!

I had an amazing stay! Merle was kind, communicative, and made check-in/check-out seamless. The house is beautiful, clean, and tucked away in a peaceful, secluded area—perfect for my two pups and cat to roam freely. The mountain views and open fields were stunning, and the sunrise was absolutely magical. The home had all the essentials and is close to unique spots like the Bread and Puppet Museum, the Museum of Everyday Life, and Lake Willoughby, with great hiking and a beach. Just down the road is The Parker Pie Company—some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Inside is a small farm store where we picked up fresh eggs and milk for breakfast. One of the highlights was relaxing by the fire in the yard while the animals played. It was peaceful, refreshing, and just what I needed. If you’re looking to unplug, unwind, and enjoy nature—this is the place. I’m already planning to return in the summer!
