Lake Front/Peaceful retreat but close to town

KristynRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved our stay in Newport. The surroundings are beautiful and secluded, but it's close enough to the town to have everything you need. We had an issue with the wifi, but once we reached out to Ana, she worked quickly to get it fixed.
A serene cabin is framed by lush greenery and wildflowers, showcasing an enclosed front porch wrapped in large windows. Natural stone and wooden fencing are visible in the foreground, with the cabin's rustic exterior harmonizing with the surrounding landscape.

Log Cabin Retreat with Amazing Views ⭐️

KristinRating, 5 stars20 months ago
What a lucky find on ABnB! We loved the location. It couldn’t have been better- just a walk across the street to the public beach. We learned the history of the home and Claudia’s library filled us in on Lake Willoughby’s rich history . Little pricey but this home has been lovingly cared for. Family oriented space -great for kids! Comfortable beds for 8 with two full baths! In a beautiful location. Well worth it We found Claudia more than generous in offering chairs for the beach and kayaks/life vests for use. She even gifted a lovely book to our bookclub. We hope to come again and stay longer next time. WiFi fine. Some had cell service some did not but not huge issue as Claudia provided landline for emergency use if needed. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable. Kristin

Bear Pause Cabin and Adirondack Shelter

MarthaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Second stay. 10/10 would stay again. Close enough to town, but feels remote. Limited cell service is good/bad depending on your view. Love the location and all of the instructions and recommendations provided. Have yet to stay in the bunkhouse, as it is chilly when I have been there. Biff is responsive, when needed.
A charming log cabin is nestled among tall trees, with a balcony on the second floor overlooking a wildflower-strewn meadow. The home features large windows that invite natural light, framed by a green landscape that reflects a serene country setting.

Great and responsive host, amazing surroundings, stargazing from the balcony, cozy house, great wifi, away from the noise, and cute dogs! Should we ask for anything more? I don't think so! ❤️ Thanks a lot for the great stay!, Jim! I hope we were good guests

Echo Lake Respite

Mary JaneRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Cynthia's home on Echo Lake is our new favorite. The furnishings are comfortable and tasteful, with nothing lacking in the way of cooking, laundry, sleeping and water access needs. The setting is unbeatable, with an enclosed deck overlooking the lake, furnished with comfortable outdoor furniture, grill and covered picnic table making outdoor eating a must. We enjoyed swimming to the raft and watching the sunsets from the deck on the water. The house is surrounded by naturalized gardens and patio plantings, with great privacy from neighbors. The lake was quiet with the exception of the calls of the loons. We enjoyed the 5 mile loop around Echo Lake, great for walks and biking. Cynthia is a great host and has gone out of her way to create this wonderful, peaceful place for all to enjoy! We look forward to returning again next summer.

Lake Eden lakefront cabin

KarenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Sue met us at the cottage. She welcomed us with a warm inside fire and gave us a tour of the cottages and grounds. She went over everything with us and shared her personal history of the cottage. I could have talked to Sue for hours! We absolutely loved our stay at 'After Chores'! Lake Eden is beautiful with crystal clear water! We enjoyed the sunsets, fishing ( access to all the boats was so fun for fishing and exploring) , campfires under the gorgeous starlit northern Vermont sky, watching the loons. The cottage was so cozy with front row views of the lake. It took me breath away every morning to wake up that view! Sue thought of absolutely everything to make our stay memorable and comfortable. The location is perfect with so much to do right around! We hiked some local trails and saw the most beautiful waterfalls, Bingham falls and Moss Glenn falls. Local breweries, distilleries and a visit to to the town of Stowe were highlights too! I wish I could rate our stay higher!
The image captures a serene lakeside view at sunset, with the soft glow of the sky reflected in the water. A charming cottage with a red roof is framed by lush green grass and colorful flowers in the foreground, enhancing the natural beauty of the setting.

Luxury Lakefront Memphremagog on Newport Bike Path

MichelleRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We throughly enjoyed our week! The rail trail is right behind the house and 4 bikes are provided. The lake is right out the back of the house where you can enjoy simply floating on a tube with your favorite drink, enjoy the kayaks that are provided or simply watch the numerous birds from the lovely back porch. The sunsets are second to none. The well appointed kitchen and propane grill are a huge bonus.

Tatebrook Cottage, Caspian Lake, Greensboro VT

MarcieRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had an idyllic weekend at this magical place! Tatebrook Cottage is perfectly situated right on beautiful Caspian Lake, with a lovely (sandy!) beach, kayaks to use, and fabulous views out to the mountains. The cottage is extremely well laid out and outfitted, roomy enough to stretch out and do our own things, but with a warm and cozy feeling. Things are pristine inside and out. We loved exploring the gorgeous area on foot and by kayak, then coming back to cook excellent meals. Jennifer was a gracious and generous host, very clear and very responsive. We feel grateful to our hosts for such a wonderful visit!

Cabin by Crystal Lake, Barton, VT

ArnabRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was peaceful, quiet, and conveniently located near a crystal-clear lake, as well as Lake Willoughby, Newport town, and the Mt. Pisgah trail. Bonnie was incredibly responsive and even suggested local events that we thoroughly enjoyed. As a photographer, I especially appreciated the stunning surroundings. Overall, I highly recommend this place, and we’d love to return in the future.
