The HideBehind

MelissaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The HideBehind was the perfect weekend getaway! We wanted something peaceful and private close to other parts of Vermont we wanted to visit. Everything about the cabin was perfect, it was clean, had helpful instructions and recommendations, and Scott and his wife were very friendly and welcoming. The hot tub and electric fire were easy to use and made our stay 100% more enjoyable. This is a place I would definitely recommend, and I myself would come back again!
Two rustic cabins are visible, framed by a snowy landscape and a leafless tree. Red shutters contrast against the brown wood siding of the cabins, which are partially covered with fresh snow. A serene winter sky looms overhead, providing a calm backdrop.

1BR Mountainview Dog Friendly | Hot Tub

MelissaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a lovely getaway. The cabin was easy to find even with arriving at night. The area was great, the grocery store was a quick 5 minute drive and good places to eat nearby. The cabin had all the essentials we needed to cook our own food in the cabin. Would definitely stay again, and the price was decent compared to hotels or other places.

We loved Rebecca and Josh's place! The outdoor surroundings were serene and we loved how the place felt tucked away. We were weren't there long enough to explore any trails but we want to come back! There were many thoughtful touches to the place, and fire starters/fire wood provided for us. The hot tub was very relaxing! The inside of the house was decorated very artsy and tastefully! Definitely would recommend :)

I decided to explore New England during a weekend and needed a place to spend a night. Not many options in the region. Tracy quickly responded to my request. The Tiny Cabin is a nice and simple option, in a very quiet place. Thanks for experience, Tracy!

Back Forty Acres

ErinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just what we were looking for on our trip north for a family reunion. Property was exceptionally clean and stocked with what we needed! Easy to make ourselves at home as all of the codes and directions were streamlined and easy to follow ( much appreciated after a long drive!) We loved the freshly picked lilac and taste of maple that were out for us when we arrived. The binder mentioned an Amish bakery/ donuts just down the road and it was one stop we are glad we checked out! Mark and Melissa were so prompt in responding back to anything we asked. Kids have already asked to return at some point!

Dream Cabin in Vermont

AshleyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our stay at Gerette'S place! The cabin a very cozy, it was perfect for my boyfriend and I and our two dogs. The stairs are very steep and could be tricky for some dogs to navigate, one of ours did them no problem but the other was content to stay downstairs. We enjoyed the hiking trails on the property and did not expect the added bonus of getting to take the canoe around the pond, it was such a treat! We will definitely come stay again!

Owls Head

BethanyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Owl's Head Cabin for a long weekend skiing at Jay. The cabin is small and cozy, very warm, and the right size for two people for a weekend. In addition to the main bed, there's a loft with a sleeping area, but you'd have to be very small to get into it and enjoy it; I'd guess the cabin would be a bit small for a couple with children but maybe if you're out all day it'd be okay. Cooking appliances worked well. The one note of caution is that you have to drive on a somewhat rough, uphill dirt road for at least 3 or 4 miles to reach the cabin. We fortunately did not have to drive during a time when there was actively snow falling on the road, but the 2wd sedan we rented definitely would not have made it in those conditions; it was a little harrowing even with just the slush and ruts left after plowing. So be careful if your trip coincides with nastier weather! Jason was very communicative and left clear instructions. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Simply Eden- cabin 1

TomRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Everything about our stay was outstanding and as advertised. We made last minute decision to do some Spring skiing at Jay Peak and stayed for three nights at Sherry's cabin. We literally booked the room at about 9pm the night before. Super easy to get into the cabin and Sherry's driving directions were spot on. The cabin was spotless and had all you need to be comfortable. It's about 30 minutes to Jay Peak and 15 minutes from the cool town of Montgomery. A great complimentary touch was a nice bottle of cabernet and a pint of Ben & Jerry's. We would definitely stay at the cain again.

Sunny Vermont Lake Getaway

DavidRating, 5 stars6 months ago
For the second year in a row, we have rented Debbie's place on Lake Parker in West Glover to accommodate extra family members coming for the Thanksgiving Family Weekend just up the road. It has worked very well for us. It's a relatively new home with quality construction (note the 12 inch walls for superior insulation.) Downstairs there is a huge mudroom upon entry with an open floor plan housing the kitchen, dining room, and living room on the first floor. With the beautiful hard wood floors and ample space the first floor could be dance studio. Large, full baths can be found on both the first and second floor. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need. Upstairs there are 3 good sized comfortable bedrooms - 2 with double bed/queen beds and one with 4 bunks one of which is queen size. We had five staying there but it could have accommodated several more. Great lake views. The beds were comfy. Debbie is an awesome host, responsive and accommodating. We recommend highly
