Self catering holiday cottage at private home

Cottage under our house with a small kitchen bedroom and bathroom. It is a self catering unit with bar fridge, micro wave oven and 2 plate stove with oven and kitchen cutlery and utensils. We have 2 small dogs a Yorkie and Jack Russell. There is a braai facility and a large swimming pool. Tv and wifi available. House is surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden and is quiet and peaceful. We are about 1000 metres from nearest beach. Open parking facility available. Infants and children allowed.

Baby Blue is a Norwegian Lifeboat that got converted into a Houseboat. She used to sail the seven seas on a ship from Valleta on an island called Malta from Italy. There is only one of her kind. Lovely modern self-catering cottage set in a huge beautiful garden right on the beach. Enjoy a glass of bubbly on the deck. Ideal for a romantic getaway. Although no sea view from the unit itself you can fall asleep while listening to the waves crashing at night. Lovely tidal pools to bathe in or to fish. The main Blue flag beach is a short stroll away. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a firepit, braai area outside in the private garden area. Owners willing to assist wherever needed.

Southbroom is a great holiday spot. We loved the house - gorgeous views, spacious for a family with teenagers. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Walk down to the beach for sundowners. A real spoil with Augustine and Joslin taking amazing care of us. Super clean and well equipped.

This is a gem in Southbroom. The house is in a lush garden with a stunning view of the ocean. It is peaceful and you don't know there are houses around you due to the lush forest. The house is comfortable and has both a gas and coal braai and full kitchen amenities. We were spoiled with breakfast biscuits and fresh water. Our children had an amazing easter egg hunt in the massive garden. Stephanie is a great host and easy to communicate with. We will return!

What a wonderful stay we had over a long weekend. The house feels like a home, is big enough to accommodate numerous families, but feels really premium. You feel away from the buzz of the north coast, meandering down to the beach, ocean views from the bedrooms, firepit evenings with the ocean's roar only dwarfed by the magnificent night sky. A holiday to remember!

Stunning apartment right on the shoreline. The apartment was modern, spacious and very well maintained. The large balcony was perfect for evening braais and we spent many happy hours up there watching dolphins and whales playing in the ocean. A two min walk to margate beach and an easy drive to all local amenities. Can’t say enough about the place, we loved it!
