House vacation rentals in Orgnac-l'Aven

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We had a great stay for two at Nathalie's and her family's place. She and her husband welcomed us warmly and explained everything. The location is fantastic. Very quiet, perfect for relaxing. You have the choice of whether you want to drive to the numerous places or enjoy the tranquility. You also have the opportunity to take active vacations or do sightseeing. You can always end the evening relaxing by the pool. We definitely recommend the place

Great house for a family vacation! The house has all facilities you need and is located conveniently close to Suze-La-Rousse (small village with some nice shops and restaurant).

A real little piece of heaven! Estelle is adorable, we had a good time with her, she is attentive and always available if you need anything. The accommodation is great, the kitchen is small but more than enough to prepare good meals. The exteriors are very pleasant, the pool is beautiful, there is a table under a pergola to be able to eat in the shade. We spent 4 wonderful days, we enjoyed every moment spent at Estelle's. We hope to be able to return to this little gem one day

Second stay at Pierre & Sarah and the house is just as fabulous as it was the first time. Attentive yet discrete hosts, gorgeous surroundings. We will be back!

Very welcoming, friendly and attentive hosts. Nelson, a lovely golden retriever. The pool is really a plus. Very quiet and very cozy place. The sharing platter they offer is a treat, as well as the homemade olive oil. We recommend this address. We'll be back.

This old converted water mill makes a lovely family house, perfect for all generations. It is isolated (no need to worry about children screaming in the swimming pool) and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with signed hiking trails in all directions. You can walk to the very attractive village of Lussan for an ice cream or drink, (but any sort of food shopping does mean a car journey.) Our group comprised grandparents, parents and three children (aged 3 to 8). The children loved the pool, the trampoline and the bikes. The adults enjoyed boules and molkii. (There's also table tennis and lots of board games.) Vincent, the owner, lives close by and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently he came round to deal with any little problems.

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cévennes, super quiet, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. With a swimming pool and beautiful pétanque court… And available, responsive and very friendly hosts!

We really enjoyed our unfortunately quite short stay in Labastide-de-Virac. The house was great, spacious in absolutely nice location. An excellent base for breathtaking hikes. The house is very well located, a plus is really the large terrace with a superb life for barbecues. We had a good comfortable weekend at Didier's.

We had a fantastic stay at Valerie's accomodation! The location was beautiful and peaceful, with great access to nearby villages and sights. The home was clean, cozy, and beautifully furnished. Valerie was very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout. A perfect spot for a relaxing getaway—I’d happily return!

It was great! Philipp and Annie were super welcoming. Philipp was kind enough to answer our questions about the surrounding restaurants and markets. The cottage was perfect. Brand new, beautiful and the old stones kept it cool. Location. River for swimming 500 m away but also less than 30 minutes from a lot of things to see. Perfect accommodation for a family like ours! Definitely recommend!!

This truly is a magical place to stay! It would be worth it for the beautiful terrace and views alone but the whole house is up to the same standard and has a Zen like atmosphere. We had a week of superb weather and really fell in love with the Ardèche. Great hikes start right at the house. Mirjam and Benjamin are very welcoming and professional hosts. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this rental and hope to return!

Absolutely blown away by our stay at this stunning villa in Séguret. The villa is spacious and filled with charm, perfectly nestled in one of the most picturesque villages in Southern France. Our host Jean Luc was incredibly helpful in making recommendations and providing local tips to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. This has been one of the most memorable and magical stays we’ve ever had and we highly recommend this property.

Had a great leave! A very nice house with everything you need! Nathalie ne dominique is always there for their guests. Very nice domain and very well maintained. There is air conditioning on the lower floor and upstairs there are very good fans ready. There are shutters to keep the freshest in the house. Very smooth communication, very nice! pool was very ok, enough sun loungers, extra refrigerator, freezer..... thank you dominique and nathalie for the pleasant stay!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful house near Cornillon and Goudargues! We were a group of 3 adults, 2 small kids, and 2 babies, and the house was just perfect for all of us. It’s incredibly well-equipped and lovingly maintained, both inside and out. You can really tell that the owners care about the place. For the kids, it was a dream come true — a true playground with a trampoline, table tennis, swing set, and a fantastic pool that was also ideal for the little ones. The large garden gave everyone plenty of space to relax and play in peace and quiet. Evenings were great: we enjoyed dinners under the covered terrace with beautiful ambient lighting and nice views. Afterward, we’d play a round of pétanque — such a great way to end the day! The location is very convenient, with a supermarket, butcher and bakery just a 3-minute drive away. Communication with the host was excellent, both before and during our stay. And if we had any questions, René was always around.

We were hosted very well by Isabelle and Philippe, in a peaceful and natural setting. The accommodation is really great and atypical, bright and very well arranged. We enjoyed this relaxing three-day weekend, in a wooded environment, in communication with nature. I thank Isabelle and Philippe for their sympathy and availability. I recommend it!!!!

Stéphane is a very welcoming host who gave us good tips for visits and restaurants. He was available to meet our expectations. The accommodation is really great for 12 people. As for the pool area with its summer kitchen, it's an added bonus for this rental. We were able to enjoy it a lot thanks to the good weather. We recommend this accommodation, close to many places to visit: Aiguèze, Vallon Pont d'Arc, the caves of Saint Marcel, the lavender museum...

We truly enjoyed our stay, a perfect location to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. It was a nice surprise to find so many animals: a horse, super cute dogs and a cat. The garden is beautiful, you can walk around, go down to the river, enjoy quietness and pure nature all around. The road to the location is also very nice - like a hidden path through nature. It’s definitely a place to come back to, with an amazing energy. Even two nights restore you fully and feels like you stayed much longer than this. Not to mention a stylish and tastefully decorated house. You can find all you need. Amazing both side terraces - to enjoy a morning sun and a sunset.

It was an excellent pre summer break, with everything what it takes - the sun, the sweeping pool, pétanque! Amazing surroundings - to walk, cycle or drive. Lots of options for the outside dining, but also great to cook at home and enjoy the quiet and intimate home atmosphere! We will be glad to get back once again in future!
