Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ørestad, Amager Vest

Monica and Claus were lovely to deal with, helpful, thoughtful and friendly. Their apartment is tastefully furnished, and in a lovely setting, with many windows and French doors. We were four adults and we all found the beds to be very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, even sleeping with the windows wide open. Due to the apartment being their home where they live most of the time, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. However, because it is their home, the closets are full and there is no available space for guests clothing or incidentals, so be prepared to live from your suitcase. There are about 6 flights of stairs to get to the 4th floor. It was a workout for us 70 year olds, but manageable. The big perk was that Claus met us upon our arrival and helped carry heavy luggage upstairs, a very kind and helpful gesture. There are many bakeries and cafes within a short walk and the bus and metro are very accessible. I highly recommend this BnB.

Marco's place was excellent. We had a family of 11 people, including children. Marco's place was perfect- enough places for sleeping, a spacious living room to be together, a very well-equipped kitchen, the metro was just 8 min to walk, bus 3-4 minutes. The beach was around 10 minutes to walk, and the airport was just 2 metro stops. Marco responded very quickly and his neighbour was also very friendly and helped us with everything. I totally recommend Marco's place!

Amazing home, quiet, spacious and very clean, Lars greeted us warmly with some welcome wine and drinks and was extremely helpful explaining everything to us. The house has everything you may need and more, like instant sparkling water even. Anything you may need to prepare a meal is available. Oled TV is a plus. Fresh air at this neighborhood and very safe. Spacious 4 bedrooms, the house is perfect for a mid to large family, I will definitely try to book the same house for our family again next year. Very impressed and greatful to Lars for his warm hospitality.

Wonderful place to stay with a beautiful view of the landscape. Finn was very welcoming. Highly recommended both for enjoying local nature and as staging for trips to other parts of Danmark. We enjoyed our stay!

The 5 days at Søren's were great for us as a family (5 adults). The house offers plenty of space and the garden is the hit. The house is also in a quiet area. Søren's house was a great place to start for our journey of discovery on Zealand. Copenhagen can also be reached quickly by car.

This place is a real gem. The apartment is cosy, really stylish and the host is lovely. The bathroom is beautiful, the beds are comfy and the balcony has a nice view. I would come back anyday.

Very cozy house on the outskirts of Copenhagen ideally located to the S-Bahn station for a quick trip to Copenhagen center. Karen and Thorbjørn were super friendly on arrival and already let us into the house in the morning, although that was not so agreed.

Jen's place is absolutely a gem. Incredibly well-designed, every piece of furniture and decor is absolutely beautiful. Stuff in the kitchen is very well equipped, and all in great shape. But what makes this place great is moment you arrive you feel like it's your home. Jen is also very helpful, kind and great guy to hang out with. If you want to experience authentic Danish living surrounded by beautiful interiors and great access to downtown and nature - this will be the best place for you!

Our first visit to Sweden was truly unforgettable, and Skanör exceeded all our expectations. The beach and sea were absolutely stunning, especially for us coming from Belgium, and we were touched by the warm hospitality of everyone we met. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kristina's charming cottage. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The cottage was generally clean and tidy. It’s worth noting that guests should bring their own toiletries, such as shampoo, shower gel, and a hairdryer (something that was not mentioned in the Airbnb description as included or not). The nearby supermarket and shops were very convenient, and Malmö is just a short 30-minute drive away. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would love to return to your cottage, Kristina. Lovely little cottage that has everything you really need. The layout of the rooms is a bit confusing at first (kitchen & sink/toilet & shower seperated from each other), but you get used to it pretty fast and very easily. Slept really well because Bunkeflostrand is such a quiet area in general. Also, the views of the bridge and the ocean that you get from just a short walk are incredible. Witnessed some of the prettiest sunsets I've seen in a while. The wifi connection was fast, so attending an online video call wasn't an issue at all. There are multiple places to sit comfortably, so that also helped. The main house is quite close to the cottage, but I didn't mind at all. Overall, no complaints whatsoever.

We had a great stay here with two kids (9 & 1) - beautiful old building, stylish and kid friendly! It felt homely with many personal items and like we were really living the local life in Copenhagen. Michael provided a cot/high chair and the kids rooms is great as it had lots to entertain kids and the space/ layout of the apartment with a separate dining /kitchen and living room meant that it was possible to have some space after the kids went to bed! The apartment is only 15-20 mins walk from the centre and you can walk via a great playground. We really enjoyed coming back to the apartment each day - relaxing, spacious and cosy at same time. I had a lovely weekend at this place. The location is a bit difficult to reach without a car, but overall it is a very peaceful and beautiful place. I am glad I chose it.

We were allowed to be guests for 2 weeks in the house of Dorte, Lars and family. We, which means 3 adults and our 3-year-old daughter. Communication was always very friendly and helpful. The large, fully fenced garden with pool, trampoline was a little paradise for our daughter. A great gas grill was available for dad. Mom and grandma have decorated it on the very nice porch. Around the house there are numerous seating options. In the house we found everything you need. Only one bathroom was a little tight. We were a little surprised by the small bedrooms. Except for the master bedroom. 3 bedrooms are upstairs and one in the basement. There are various good shopping opportunities in walking distance. The S-Bahn (suburban train) to the city of Copenhagen is also within walking distance. We felt very comfortable and are very happy to recommend the house for families!

The house is truly unique on Airbnb, and we were fortunate to secure one of the rare time slots available. The house and farm are even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. Bjørn and his family were very kind and supportive hosts, making us feel welcomed and appreciated. We had a fantastic time exploring Copenhagen, Roskilde, and Helsingør, biking through the stunning landscape, relaxing by the pool, or enjoying the evening sun on the terrace. Even the little rain we experienced didn’t dampen our spirits, as we enjoyed the cozy and charming interior of the house. To be clear: we would love to come back!

Excellent apartment for families. My wife, 2 children aged 11 and 12, and I spent 5 days in Vibeke's apartment. It is very well connected to the center, both by metro and by water taxi, and on foot in 20 minutes. It is very spacious, very clean in a quiet neighborhood and overlooking the marina and canal. We enjoyed it very much and would definitely stay here again.

We had a splendid week! Great weather and the children enjoyed the pool. It was hard to get them out of the house :-). House is located near a supermarket and close to cities like Lund and Malmo. Possible to visit them by train as the station is also very near to the house. Great time and we can really recommend staying at Katarina & Pete's house.

We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely book this lovely home again. We really enjoyed all of the animals and had great fun caring for them. The home had everything needed for a comfortable stay and communicating with Mette was absolutely lovely. She was more than a host and gave us great recommendations and advice. It's a very nice spot of earth! Ideal for rest and fun with the whole family! The contact with the family was always very friendly and there was always a prompt response! Kristina is a great landlady, I can only recommend it! 👍🏻 And the neighbor is still there as a personal point of contact and is super helpful and nice! Actually, we wanted to do more, but the beautiful terrace and pool led us a lot to just stay "at home" because it was so cozy! The area invites you to stroll, cycle and jog. We are definitely really well recovered! Thank you for letting us take a vacation with you!

I would suggest Michael as a Superhost! He is very friendly, speaks multiple languages and replies always within few hours. Great place to stay, especially if you want the city center nearby but also want to enjoy some time off at the beach :-)
