This place is truly one of a kind. Step back in time and enjoy a peaceful stay in our remodeled retro mobile home in the country. A comfortable home from the past when time moved slowly and life was simpler. Part of the charm of our unique place is the remote location where you can still hear Birdsong in the mornings and watch stars at night. You can see the sunrise and some of the most beautiful sunsets. We are 10 miles from Clinton and 13 miles from Lincoln.

I really enjoyed my stay at the huthouse. This was an beautiful and peaceful space. It was a retreat for me after spending tiring days moving my Millikin student. Staci and Joe were very responsive and provided helpful information about the area. The space had everything I needed including laundry to wash those sweaty moving clothes. There was plenty of parking too. I hope to be back with my husband when we visit the area again.

We had such a great time at Asa Creek Cottage in Sullivan. The house was clean, spacious, and really comfortable—perfect for our group of friends. It had everything we needed to unwind after a long day out on Lake Shelbyville. One of our favorite parts was the back deck overlooking the creek—super peaceful and a great spot to hang out. We also enjoyed using the fire pit in the evenings. It made for a nice, laid-back end to each day. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax with friends and enjoy nature, this is a great spot. We’d definitely stay here again.

Victoria was an extordinary host, this location is close to the refinery facilities which helped get to and from the worksite. We are subcontractors who travel out of town, which Victoria was always flexible with accepting pre planned dates and scheduling. This location is highly recommended.
