Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. De B&B ligt in Blokker: een klein dorpje in de provincie Noord-Holland, gelegen nabij de historische havensteden Hoorn en Enkhuizen. Cat & Breakfast, the B&B for cat lovers!

The Cat & Breakfast is the place for people who want to get away and love cats. Through a (lockable) hatch, our cats Dix, Jack, Moby and Ted can look you up. In addition, you can get cat-friendly inspiration. The sustainable breakfast consists of homemade vegan waffles, an organic egg, organic cheese, fruit and sandwiches. From the C&B you can reach the IJsselmeer lake in fifteen minutes and the North Sea in half an hour. Nice towns nearby are Medemblik, Enkhuizen and Hoorn.

Apartment of 50 square meters. Kitchen with dishwasher and combination microwave. Luxury bathroom: lovely rain shower and toilet. On the first floor on the water with a spacious terrace. A short distance from IJsselmeer, Medemblik and other cities. For shopping, biking, hiking, surfing, kiteboarding or sailing. Pet welcome: max. 1 dog, 10 euro a day. Damage caused by pet is at the expense of the tenant! Hot tub is wood fired, 10 euros at a time. Barbecue is provided.

Deck and wheelhouse in Hoorn (parking)

The deck-house and wheelhouse in the back of a former sailing cargo-ship van 1888 is transformed into a small apartment . The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!

"Papenveer", a beautifully situated holiday home

In the beautiful West Frisia in Oostwoud, we rent out a 4-person holiday home called "Papenveer". This vacation home is in a small vacation park. It is located on through water with beautiful views and privacy. Papenveer is a cozy, spacious cottage equipped with a modern kitchen and fully equipped bathroom and 2 bedrooms.
