Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

Unique house with Wellness in authentic Farmhouse

Unfortunately, my own stay was only of a very short duration, because I became increasingly sick during the first evening. Karin helped us (I stayed here for a weekend with my best friend) with the contact details of the doctor's guard and there, in addition to antibiotics, I got the advice to go out at home sick... So whether my husband still pick me up around midnight. Extremely unfortunate because the cottage had/has everything we had been looking forward to. From a nice dining table to chat at, playing games, being creative, to a really beautifully finished bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bed (I spent a few hours sick there that afternoon so I'll take that experience as a "bonus". My girlfriend was able to explore the beautiful surroundings further after my departure, she stayed there to enjoy the tranquility and did this to the fullest! In the future, we hope for a resit because this location is definitely worth it!

Very nice house in a wonderful location. The water property with the beautiful terrace is really special. The house is bright and spacious. We arrived as a family with 7 people, it was perfect for that. In March, it was still a little chilly to use the terrace extensively, but the fireplace in the cozy living room was worth gold. We felt very comfortable.

I really enjoyed 3 days in Balk with the very friendly Judith and Jeroen. Beautiful homestay, super clean and tidy. Beautiful area within walking distance of Slotermeer. Beautiful garden with various seating areas where you can relax and read breakfast. The surroundings are also beautiful, in my opinion the most beautiful part of Friesland. I would 100% recommend this homestay and I will definitely return here. Thank you very much for everything!

We visited Andréia for the second time and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The location on the water is fantastic. The apartment is optimally equipped and sparkling clean. You can plan your excursions wonderfully or just sit and relax by the water and fish. Andréia is such a warm and loving host. I could go on raving here, but I don't think there is anything more to say than that we will come back a third time.

The stay is worth the price. However, it is worth having your own basic equipment of kitchen ingredients with you, if you want to cook as wonderfully with the wonderful view from the kitchen to the sea;-). (You will have to buy everything - salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, spices, etc.) But the jumbo in the village is a great shop (7 min. in the car) and the essentials would also be available in the campsite shop. 4 minutes by car/10-15 min. by foot) However, the towels for the bathroom are offered and included. You don't need to bring anything. Look forward to unforgettable days at sea!

We spent a few lovely days at the place with 3 adults and 2 small dogs. The apartment is clean and very comfortably furnished and nothing is missing. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back again. The location is quiet, yet the beach, restaurants and shopping are very quickly within walking distance. The contact was always very friendly.

If you're looking for a relaxing break right on the Ijsslemeer, gets its money's worth here. A very nice, well-kept and clean Air BnB with everything you need to feel at home and an incredibly beautiful view from the living room /dining table directly on the water. Enjoying the sunsets here on the terrace is simply premium. Thanks to the very friendly and helpful hosts! Hopefully we will be back with you very soon! :)

I was with a friend and my Bernese dog for a week in Marike's great apartment! Ruby was happy about a fenced garden where she could move as she pleased. We found everything as described very clean and Marike responded and answered inquiries within seconds. The location is great - 3 min to the beach and also to the Dorpsplein, there you will find everything from the supermarket to clothing/decoration etc. to various restaurants and the best baker Always happy to come back to Callantsoog

We had beautiful days at Marleen's in Julianadorp. We were 3 nights as a group of four with a dog and 2 nights as a group of three with a dog. There was always enough space to sleep and sit. Due to the great location, we were of course also out and about from morning to evening. But thanks to the coziness of the apartment, we spent nice game evenings there. There was a sleeping place and bowls for our dog. There were treats from Marleen for him and also for us. There was a small terrace that was completely dog-proof fenced. Thank you for everything! It was very nice at your place, Marleen!

The place was very nice and well maintained, we felt right at home! In the house everything was available...from baking paper, Zewa, etc. to Maggi, the kitchen was well equipped. The hostess Patricia was very friendly and helpful. The location is nice and quiet with direct views of the water... Everything worked out and we can only recommend the place!

We had a very nice stay! The accommodation is stylishly furnished, especially the brand new and high quality kitchen delighted us. Even beach toys for the children were available. The beach is in about 15 minutes walking distance, which was perfect for relaxing days by the sea. The location is also great – both Amsterdam and Alkmaar are easily accessible. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

What a lovely, clean, fully furnished cottage in a beautiful setting. We felt right at home. At night it is mouse quiet and dark. From the park you can cycle right away. Good and beautiful MTB trails in the national parks. Delicious ice cream in Diever. Westerbork was impressive. Martina is a sweet and helpful host. We will definitely come back again.

We had a lovely, relaxed stay here and the house had everything we needed and more. It was very comfortable and spacious with outdoor space, which we made very good use of. The location was very peaceful and not far to Grou by bike or by short ferry ride. This house ticked all the boxes for us and we would highly recommend it to others. From check-in to check-out, everything went very smoothly and we were given clear instructions about the house and appliances. A great base for exploring our beloved Friesland and all our favourite towns were with easy reach by car. The kitchen had everything we needed and was great to cook in. We came home feeling re-charged and rejuvenated and that speaks volumes about the quality of our stay. We will definitely be back in the future and would tell anyone looking for a house in this area to book this property. A great find!!

The location directly on the bay is very nice. The accommodation and the associated outdoor area are very cozy, so you can feel really comfortable there. Unfortunately, the sea was almost unseen during our summer vacation. For bathing, shopping and dining, you depend on the car.

Mariska and her family are extremely welcoming and great people. They have a folder in the tiny house that describes everything you’d want to know. Spending time on a farm with all these animals was incredibly calming and peaceful. 10/10 would visit again if in the area!
