I had a wonderful time at Jeydin's place! The cottage is very comfortably furnished and also offers everything you need for a relaxed stay. I felt super comfortable from the start. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and communication with Jeydin was warm, straightforward and fast. We only stayed one night on our way to Costa Rica. Hans is very friendly and showed us the apartment and how everything works! It had everything we needed and was exactly as described online. A little noisy during the night, because it's quite close to the main street, but earplugs helped! Thank you Hans!

Little privat gem if you are looking for a budget accomkdation. Close to the main road so easy to catch a cab or walk anywhere, very clean and amazing communication with the host. It does get a little hot during the day so be aware of that and the water in the shower is refreshing but not cold.

quiet and sheltered accommodation. Between the center and the lake (barely a dollar per person for either by taxi, otherwise 20-30 min. walk). Popular neighborhood with very kind locals, the person who takes care of the accommodation is very available and meets all needs. the space itself is quite large with 2 rooms. A bar with hangers or shelves in the bedroom and enough to put a towel in the bathroom would have been a plus. the kitchen makes it possible to make the kitchen simple (electric stove and microwave, sufficient dishes, fridge and coffee maker), a small table and two chairs allow you to sit there, but are not very convenient for eating. Everything is in very good condition and impeccable cleanliness. the value for money seems to be well adjusted.

Nothing bad to say about Hector y Isabel's place. Hector was such an amazing host who is so gracious and knowledgeable about the beautiful island of Ometepe. He gave us a great deal on renting his motorcycle and even brought in his sister in law to teach us how to cook local cuisine. If you ask nicely, he might even bring you up the hill and show you his beautiful farm on the side of the Maderas Volcano. Great location right on the beach and close to restaurants and 2km or so to Ojo De Agua. Do yourself a favor and stay in this great spot. Thanks Hector!
