Monthly Rentals in Omanawa

STAY HERE! If you’re in Tauranga or visiting Mount Maunganui it’s about a 10-15 min drive to each so you’re right in the middle. The surroundings are BEAUTIFUL. You can see the sunrise every morning over the jungle and hear the roosters and cows in the morning. If you’re lucky you’ll get a visit from their adorable cat Ella. The kitchen, bathroom and bed linens were clean and plentiful. There’s a “dairy” or convenience store a 3 min walk away. They were fantastic hosts that stocked the fridge with essentials and always made sure we had what we needed. They were attentive and quick to respond. We stayed at their tiny home for a month and it was a perfect retreat!

Our goal was for a relaxing, rejuvenating week and we accomplished it here! It was close enough to do some day trips to Waitamo and Rotorua, and, then, spend the remaining days enjoying the gorgeous views, a local pathway to a park (with waterfalls and glowworms!), and barbeques on the grill. We even got a mini tour of and educational lesson about the neighboring kiwi farms.

What a lovely place to stay! Very spacious with beautiful light and view of the garden. I stayed for 4 weeks and felt it was a very comfortable place to be. Matt and Aga were both very friendly but gave me my privacy. Very helpful and responsive when needed. Would definitely recommend this place! One caution is that there are three children living upstairs so it can get a little noisy during day time hours if you were trying to work from home.

We absolutely loved our stay here, from the cute little treats that were left out for our arrival to the stunning greenery and lush gardens that surround the property, everything was perfection! The house was immaculate, beautifully styled and honestly we were both just obsessed! We wish we could have stayed for a week, we will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend!!
