Right below the house is the Takelv waterfall, a bathing pool and a barbecue hut. The area has several hiking and ski trails as well as Målselv Fjellandsby about 9 km away. The house consists of a bedroom with 3 beds (family bed), a bedroom with a double sofa bed (1.40 m wide), a single bed in the living room (if needed), 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a large entrance and an attic living room. Family friendly!

Sommarøya is a small village 1 hour outside Tromsø. There is a bus twice a day on weekdays, during the weekend a bus runs Sunday evening. There is good parking for the rental car. In addition to listed rooms, the house has a room with a double sofa bed. This room is adjacent to one of the bedrooms. There are also a room with a singel bed. Animals are allowed at request.
