The house was very clean and had lots of space. Some of the beds were very firm so we did have to trade rooms with one of our kids for a softer mattress. Overall a great house with plenty to explore in the area. Went to the local cheese shop and got great sight seeing recommendations from the worker. The Marble Museum had cool sculptures and info about the local areas history in extracting marble. The pool is not heated and was a little chilly in late September, but the kids still had fun.

Great place to stay with family. Pool was lovely and facing the sunset. Close to amenities and main national road made travelling around the area very easy. Hosts were very nice and helpful when any issues arose.

The house is a delight. Spacious and full of charm and character. Had everything we needed as far as amenities. Plenty for cooking, playing games, a few interesting books as well. It’s a good location, too. Most everything was easily walkable, including the city’s cultural center, and the stadiums where they have basketball and futsal games (go Electrico!). We also visited a nearby winery and used Ponte de Sor as our launching point for daytrips to Tomar and Evora. I contacted Luis a couple of times during my stay and he responded quickly every time. He was 100% committed to ensuring I had a great visit. I would definitely stay here again. Luis was one of the best hosts I’ve worked with.

Unique place for those looking to have a good time in tranquility and peace. We were very well received and our stay was really enjoyable! Unique experience with all the animals and wonderful scenery, not forgetting the features of the house that almost take us on a trip through time. Charming, beautiful home. It is located in small town, walking distance to a market and a few cafés. We loved the area as it has a lot to offer. There are towns with amazing restaurants in either direction 10 minutes drive away. We enjoyed the pool with the kids, though it is on the small side.

A place for those who, with family or friends, seek calm, peace and silence with privacy and all the necessary amenities. Very well maintained and cared for estate. Excellent common swimming pool. For lovers of hiking, ideal location. Regarding the house, it could not be better, spacious, sunny and a small pool for the hottest days. Top hosts want Daniel like D. The house is better in reality than the photos, it has far exceeded our expectants and the owners cannot be more pleasant and helpful. Everything is exceptional, we will undoubtedly recommend and repeat it.

It's a quiet, beautiful, unforgettable place

We had a blast for my 30th birthday. Perfect location, beautiful house with an amazing garden. John was super helpful with the checking and very kind.

Great place to spend a relaxed, serene and comfortable weekend. Herdade maintains the traditional traces of typical palace construction, but offers all the comfort, namely in the rooms. Beds are large and very comfortable. I think we benefited from renting the entire space so we did not feel in a room, but at home, in the double sense: with the whole space for us and very cozy. Note for the outside, very spacious, the pool area is quite pleasant and, the best part of all, is undoubtedly the animals that exist on the farm (present, but without bothering). There are chickens, goats, cats and dogs. Trufa (a young dog) was an excellent host, always wanting to play and keep company. For sure if we return to this area will be for Herdade da Ordem!

A hidden gem. This was by far the best Airbnb experience my family and I have ever had. Andrea and Andreas were delightful hosts. They live on the property in a neighboring house and were attentive to all our needs throughout the stay. This is a special property. It's located approximately 1 hour 50 minutes drive from Lisbon. We flew in and rented a car. The drive there was beautiful, taking small roads through the olive and cork groves of the Portuguese countryside in Alentejo. Upon arriving, you enter a complete escape from reality on this ancient farm. Andrea and Andreas have a working olive oil production facility (tour it!), and many of their trees are 1000+ years old. There are also several cork trees. Sheep graze between the trees, moving about the property throughout the day. Chickens lay fresh eggs daily, and you can also pick your own lemons. The pool has several floats as well as a mini bar that Andreas keeps well-stocked. Local restaurants do a great job with take-out.

We came for our daughter's wedding and everything was perfect. We were able to receive, the day before the wedding, our daughter's family and friends in Australia, thanks to Joana's support who cooked us great salads!! The terrace and the environment greatly contributed to the atmosphere of these 3 days spent at José's. This house is in a superb environment that can make you think of the African bush, the great outdoors of Argentina; it's simply magical as a place and so quiet! We have two daughters who live in Lisbon and will surely come back with friends!

We had a fantastic weekend in this beautiful house, with a rustic Alentejo charm. The space is super cozy, very clean and perfectly prepared for families, with great conditions for children to play safely and for everyone to enjoy quiet moments. We really feel at home. We would highly recommend it and hope to go back!

A home in the countryside in a quinta while being close to Evora Perfect for visiting Evora and then enjoying the pool

We really enjoyed our stay at Monte Courela. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The place was as pictured and was very clean. The area is quiet and the house has good amenities, ideal for a few relaxing days.

Perfect house in the countryside to the east of Lisbon, near a small Sao Cristovao village where you absolutely have to stop for lunch or dinner, the restaurants are excellent. The house is spacious ideal for groups of friends with children. The views of the countryside are clear and the terraced spaces are pleasant. The owners and the housekeeper are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We highly recommend!

We really liked the house and the place where it is located. It's ideal to disconnect from everything and immerse yourself in nature.

My stay at Herdade do Topo, in Serpa, was very pleasant. The house was spotlessly clean and the pool is spectacular, perfect for relaxing. The space is comfortable and ideal for those looking for tranquility, although it would benefit from minor maintenance improvements in maintenance. A less positive point was the location registered on Airbnb, which is not correct and can cause confusion. However, the owner was very helpful and called me before the stay to explain in detail how to get there. For longer stays, it is important to know that, as it is a remote location, there is no garbage collection and guests have to take it to Serpa. Overall, I recommend Herdade do Topo for those looking for rest and privacy, taking into account only these small details.

Armando and Andrea were the most perfect hosts, especially the hostess, with both the rigour of the Germans and a love heart for life!Her room layout is very cozy, the details are very delicate, the hostess's taste is everywhere, we love this place so much, wonderful everything!We will be back! Thank you By the way, the restaurant recommended by the hostess is cheap, you must go and eat it.

Excellent property and location. We loved the pool, there is plenty of room for a family to settle in well. Very well-kept apartment exactly as shown in the photos, the cleanliness was impeccable! Sérgio was an excellent host, attentive from start to finish, we will certainly be happy to come back other times!
