Entire cottage in the heart of rural Hampshire.

Dairy Cottage was a former milking parlour. We stopped milking cows in 1992 and converted the building into a self catering holiday cottage. The cottage is situated between the Cathedral City of Winchester and the market towns of Alton and Petersfield. Nearby is the pretty town of Alresford where the River Arle flows into a lake constructed to provide fishing as well as a reservoir for the River Itchen navigation. There is a lovely short river walk here which we're happy to tell you about.

Warren Farm is 2 miles from Alton, which is famous for the Watercress Line steam railway and the home of Jane Austen. We are also on the edge of the South Downs National Park and within easy reach of Winchester and the Historic Dockyards and ferry terminals in Portsmouth. Set in the grounds of a Grade II listed thatched cottage on the edge of Kings Worthy village, our annex is beautifully decorated and comfortable.
