Great beach right next to the house Great hiking terrain for both short and long hikes, The apartments are rented out separately, one with 11 beds and the other with up to 6 beds, (3 of them are intended for children) a cot can also be obtained in addition for both apartments. Welcome to Farmorhuset in Nykvåg, right in the middle of beautiful Vesterålen. The house was built in 1954 and combines a nostalgic 1950s style with modern conveniences. I inherited this house from my father, who in turn inherited it from his mother, and it has therefore been important for me to preserve the house's soul and history. It is best suited for 5 guests, but can accommodate 6 if needed with an extra mattress in one of the bedrooms. Farmorhuset has 3 bedrooms, 4 beds and 1 bathroom.

The midnight sun lasts from mid-May to mid-July, a few weeks before and after this period the nights are as bright as the days.

Really good opportunities for nature walking, fishing and so on, or if you just want to enjoy your cup of coffee while sitting by the sea a few meters from the house. 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and livingroom in the first floor. TV-room, toilet and room with washmachine/ dryer in the basement. Wifi installed. We have a kayak, bicycle and a small boat with oars that can be used by the house's guests.
