Idyllic sheltered seaside cabin with its own floating dock and rowing boat. All of the fishing gear and life jacket are on site! Boat will not be available from October to April! Enjoy the beautiful nature Vesterålen has to offer with many hiking opportunities in the area, and dancing northern lights in autumn/winter. Also observed a flock of Pigs in the sea 🐬

Grandma's house from the 50s with sea view

Welcome to Farmorhuset in Nykvåg, in the middle of beautiful Vesterålen. The house was built in 1954 and combines nostalgic 50s style with today's amenities for a comfortable stay. I have inherited this house from my father, who in turn inherited it from his mother, and it has therefore been important for me to preserve the soul and history of the house. The granny house has three bedrooms with a total of four beds, which makes the house perfect for both small families and groups of friends.

Bring friends or the whole family to this beautiful and charming place. Here you will find a great swimming beach just below the house. It is 3-400 meters to another beach with playground equipment, volleyball court etc. There are great hiking opportunities on the island to Skaga lighthouse or to the many beaches on the island. It is 15 min. to drive to Stø with Hvalsafari, 15 min. to Myre where you will find a good selection of shops (sports , clothing stores, liquor store, 4 grocery st.etc.).

In this modern residence, you can seek peace and relax in a beautiful landscape. It is located rurally at the end of Eidsfjorden in Vesterålen, about 15 km from the center of Sortland. Suitable as a starting point for trips to Øksnes, Andøya, Hadsel and Lofoten. There are also great hiking/summit ski areas right outside the house. The area is rich in sea eagles and there is a high probability that you will be able to spot one. You can also rent a boat for fishing in the fjord.

Cabin with running water, electricity and road connection, is located at Storvannet in Øksnes. Central in Vesterålen, in the middle of Sortland and Myre. The place is a good starting point for exploring Vesterål Municipality, but also possible to take a day trip to Lofoten. There are good opportunities for swimming, fishing, mountain hiking and paddling with canoe and kayaking. In winter you can fish on the ice, go skiing and also ride randonee. Free use of kayak and canoe.

Really good opportunities for nature walking, fishing and so on, or if you just want to enjoy your cup of coffee while sitting by the sea a few meters from the house. 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and livingroom in the first floor. TV-room, toilet and room with washmachine/ dryer in the basement. Wifi installed. We have a kayak, bicycle and a small boat with oars that can be used by the house's guests.
