I had the opportunity to stay at this guest house for 2 nights and it was a very good experience because the place is located not far from the train station. It's super easy to get around. The host is kind, friendly, and has an omotenashi. You can also pick up and drop off from the train station. The house is decorated in traditional Japanese style. 90 years old. It has an authentic Japanese feeling. The room has a Japanese futon mattress. Very soft. Sleep well. Takamichi san is a very fun person to talk to and have a lot of experience. Even if you have a little English, we talked and exchanged stories and culture, which is a lot of fun. You want to have a lot of people from different countries to stay with you, including Thai people. Another thing is that the breakfast is authentic Japanese made by yourself. There are salad, rice, eggs, miso natto soup and fresh fruit every day. Very good. Can't find it at the restaurant. If you have a plan to visit the area, let you know how to get around and must visit spot. This is a great place for relaxing and people who really want to experience the atmosphere of Japan. The cozy and cozy atmosphere is an experience that you can't find for other places to stay. Totally recommended.

Overall, it is a very satisfactory accommodation for the price:) Highly recommended 👍 Pros - It was convenient with a quick reply from the host - Due to the host's consideration, I was able to leave my luggage, and he prepared the room flexibly. - The bedspread was comfortable, and the room was cozy. - It was tidy overall. - Most of the necessary items were prepared - Desk and sitting chair are comfortably prepared - Close to Saga Station - There is not a large floating population, and it is located in a quiet neighborhood. Keep in mind - There's a bar right next door, so it's noisy all the time at dawn - The room is really dry due to the heater -You only gave me 4 large towels for 3 nights and 4 days, but when I asked for more, the guest said that they had to wash it themselves. I didn't have a lot of time to do laundry during the trip, but it wasn't difficult. - It's on the 3rd floor, but there are only stairs, so it can be difficult to climb and unload your luggage The advantages were so clear that the disadvantages didn't bother me at all. I wrote it as a note for those who are sensitive, but I genuinely used it satisfactorily! If I go to Sagaji Station again, I will visit again.

We stayed here for two nights. The house itself is fantastic; spacious and traditional looking. There are so many interesting features to look at. It’s very clean and has everything you need. The bathtub is very cool; traditional style but wooden so it’s almost like a sauna. You can sit outside on the back balcony overlooking the back garden with a view of the mountains. The hosts are lovely and live next door, so communication is easy. The location is also convenient, though without a car it might be tricky. We would love to stay again.
