It is a renovated accommodation facility that is a valuable old private house that has remained from the Meiji period, 140 years ago. Because it is located on a hill, you can enjoy breakfast, BBQ, yoga, meditation, and other experiences that will delight your mind while looking at the beautiful rural scenery below and Mt. Yufu on sunny days. We grow completely pesticide-free vegetables in our own farm in front of the house, and if you wish, we can also guide you through nature and agricultural experiences such as bamboo shoots and wild vegetables in the 1,000-square-meter back mountain. Anjuin-cho is a famous place for grapes, and grape picking is very popular. Anjuin Vineyard produces wines that are in the top 10 in Japan, and you can also visit the factory. Oita is also the best hot spring prefecture in Japan, and there are 4 hot springs in Ajimu. Yufuin and Beppu, famous for their hot springs, are 30 minutes away by car. The host has just returned to his hometown of Taketa City, Oita Prefecture, after spending half his life training as a cook. The inn was started by the host's grandparents, and is now run by the third generation. We provide a luxurious nature filled experience in the countryside where not even a single bus passes through. The inn is surrounded by nice gardens and rivers, and the nearby shrines have great atmosphere. The rich scent of the straw from tatami as you lay down your futon, for breakfast enjoy four season cha-kaiseki prepared kaishiki style with wild plants or crops from our gardens and other local specialties.
