Monthly Rentals in Oi, Ashigarakami District

This is a beautiful oasis in comparison to the hectic nature of Tokyo. Home and area are beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed riding bikes along rhetorical beachfront. Shunsuke was a perfect host including picking us up and dropping us off from the train station. Everything was nice and clean in the home. We enjoyed the traditional Japanese style of the home like sleeping on the mats on the floor, the movable walls, and the bidet of course. Would highly recommend this location for anyone seeking a more peaceful experience on the outskirts of Tokyo.

My best airbnb experience to date. Kamata's place was an outstanding one. To make up for the lack of nearby transit Kamata generously picked me up and dropped me off at the station. He also provided a bike for me to explore the local area. I loved the surrounding area with the nice forest and parks closeby~all with a nice view of fuji. I will definitely come visit again!!

Ted is a wonderful, helpful, accommodating, friendly host! His place is a quiet getaway, but still close to stations and bus stops. Many restaurants and combinis are nearby, and a few grocery stores as well. You can borrow a bike from him, making travel around Yokohama super convenient! Only note I would say, is to be quiet for your neighbors, especially at night. The walls are thin, and I had to politely ask my neighbors to speak softer one time because they were very loud through the walls. The neighbors (also Airbnb guests) were friendly about it! Highly recommended, and I will stay again if I have the opportunity!

We had a wonderful stay at Mitsuko’s house, and the view on the sea was amazing! The house is comfortable to stay for longer periods, with more than enough cooking utensils, cutlery and plates and cups for cooking. Definitely visit the local hotspring, and Manyo park in Yugawara for a relaxed day out. There are also some local busses for commuting to the nearest supermarkets.
