Large sliding doors completely open up the front of the building onto the deck, giving you a feeling of always being close to nature. Surrounded by trees, orchard, lawn and garden, the studio is a quiet retreat space. The sound of the sea and bird song are always in the background. It's 50m from our house and well hidden by trees, so you'll feel very private. The best beach in NZ is a 15 minute walk away!

My place is close to beaches, bush and the famous Motu cycle way. You’ll love my place because of the friendly welcome, the little extras AND the comfy bed!! Only 2 hours driving from either Tauranga, Rotorua or Gisborne - a good resting point. Lovely quiet cottage set on lifestyle block with many chickens and sheep. 3 minutes driving to fabulous Waiotahi beach and only 10 minutes into Opotiki for cafes and shopping. Peace and tranquility - leave the city behind.

We were staying at Paul's place for almost a month. Paul and his girlfiend are very helpful and kind hosts. It was the perfect location for a longterm stay, the kitchen is very well equiped and Paul allowed us to use his deck and the barbecue. We really enjoyed the stay.

A comfortable, compact apartment, perfect as a base for a worker. Was welcomed by Paul and given a tour, he and Leigh were friendly and always available to help/ chat / lend their dog for walks on the beach !! Lots of small details have been thought of. I particularly appreciated the well kitted out kitchen. The beach is visible from the kitchen window and accessible by walking down the driveway.

We highly recommend Lou's place, it's airy and light, the bed is super comfortable, it has enough space so you aren't falling over your stuff, and it is just a lovely place to hang out. Lou is a lovely host. We'd definitely choose it again.

"Aisling was an absolutely wonderful host! Her communication was awesome, even reaching out to let us know about a cold snap during the week of our booking to let us know about electric blankets, the heat pump, and extra heaters. If it's possible to give a 10-star review, we definitely would! Char's home is definitely one of the best AirBnb's we have ever stayed in. Upon entering, you will see the huge living room & kitchen which were as beautiful as the pictures posted. From there, you can see the play area and deck in the backyard. You can hear the waves every minute of the day. The kids raved about their room which had toys (and there even was a special drawer filled with kids' plates and utensils in the kitchen)! Everyone fell in love with the main bedroom as it was super cozy and huge as well. The best part was that the home was super near the beach. We were able to run there early in the morning & watched the sunrise. Char was extremely helpful in providing all info, from checking in, to our stay up until checking out. All of us are definitely saving Char's place for future stays in Ohope! We're so happy to have made this our home as well even for just a few days. We were all able to fully recharge ♡

Our family had a wonderful stay at Barbs beautiful home, it had everything we needed, fully equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining, loved the outdoor deck straight off lounge nice spot to eat and relax a wonderful touch was each room was so beautifully presented and the spa pool topped off each day with a relaxing soak. Feeding Mr Wilson was great too the kids enjoyed having a little job each day. Thank you so much. We had a lovely Easter weekend together.
