House vacation rentals in Ohakune

Beautiful location. Great house for our two family home holiday. Stayed in April and the heating was lovely. The heated pool was a nice surprise. Plenty of private areas if you needed space. Having access to the walking track by the lake was fantastic. House is starting to need some love but still a very lovely stay.

Absolutely loved this property, we felt instantly at home - it’s very comfortable. Being elevated from the road, the view of the lake is wonderful and the sunsets are stunning! Bayley is a great communicator which is always appreciated. We would definitely book this property again - thank you.

We had an amazing stay at Pukeatea Farm Stay! Julie is a lovely host, very friendly and helped us with all our queries promptly. Kids loved the pool & the garden. Would love to return if Julie would have us again! 10/10 would recommend! Was everything we expected and more.

Spacious but intimate at the same time. The pool & spa was a luxury. Te Whio Retreat will be among our favorite top 5 Air bnb places in the north island. The retreat offers a private home away from home close enough to everything in turangi. Beautifully presented warm home. Large master bedroom with enough space for our baby to run around in his walker while we got ready in the ensuit. x3 showers with great pressure and heat, all able to be used at the same time. The backyard was enough room for our adult husky, fencing was high and kept her well enclosed and private from view of strangers if they were to approach the property. This home is situated in the rear end of a shared driveway, allowing for maximum privacy from public view. the two neighbouring properties on both sides of Te whio are also Airbnb/holiday homes and we're empty during our time at Te whio, we didn't have to worry about our kids causing "too much noise" whilst they made the most of the pool & us the spa.

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and comfortable. It was the perfect base while visiting friends in the area. The neighbourhood was quiet but still had plenty for the kids to do. Check in was super easy and we arrived to a nice warm home with the lights on for us! We loved our stay at Karen’s!

Despite an initial hiccup, we had a fantastic time at Tracy and Damien’s home. Tracy was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay and will hopefully return to stay here again!

Great stay at Darren and Jeanette's holiday home in Acacia Bay for a 4-day stay away from the city. It had everything a family of four could need, located in a nice quiet community right on the lake. The kids loved the community recreation facility with a full gym, pool and tennis courts. Next time we are looking to go back to the area, we will certainly see if their home is available! Thank you!

We just found the best house ever! We love Werner's house, the kitchen is fully equipped and laundry room is perfect (this is essential as we are a family of 6), the common area is warm from a fireplace and a heater, the rooms are just nice for us. We truly love its location, just around 5 minutes' drive to the supermarket (New World) and around 20 minutes to the waterfalls. We went to Whakapapa ski field which is around 50minutes from the house. I can easily give 100/10 to Werner's house, we missed it already.

We had a great time at this lovely secluded home. The living area was really spacious and the kitchen was amazing and well equipped for cooking and serving a diverse range of meals - an entertainers delight. We will certainly look to rebooking in the future. Dawn even found a little bunny that one of the girls left behind and kindly got it safely home.

We had a great experience staying at Srikant's place. Everything was in order and worked as it should. Clean, tidy and the showers had great pressure!

This was a lovely place to stay and I'd definitely consider coming back another time. Very detailed instructions were left for almost everything you could want to know. The sauna and spa pool could fit all 6 of us pretty comfortably. The bedrooms could be a bit hot at times, but all windows had a mesh screen on them so you could open them without worrying about bugs getting in. The location was quite private as this yurt had only one neighbour. The only downsides were that the spa pool had a bit of a smell—I'm not sure if it needed more chlorine, but there were no instructions on how to do that. Overall, a very nice place to spend a few nights at and I wish I could be back there now

We had an absolutely blast calling Annie's home our own home away from home :) it was spacious and warm and quiet, and was just what was needed to get away from the big city ! Would recommend both the home and Annie to future travellers ! Many thanks from us all

The accommodation was amazing for a large group. House has an awesome lay out, super spacious living area and kitchen, comfy beds, and warm and toastie. Bridget’s communication was great at all times, highly recommend to stay here!

Great stay for our wknd mountain biking. clean, tidy house with everything we needed including lock up storage for bikes. A small living area but perfect for family of 4 with the abilityto host more. We would stay again. Spa pool a bonus at the end of the day!

We had a great family stay at Nicholas's place. It was perfect for us. It is well set up with everything for an easy stay and really easy to walk around town. Highlights or us were the board games, comfy beds and great showers! It's a lovely warm space on a wintery weekend.

We had an amazing stay. The location is good if you want quiet. Very small town. We would’ve loved if the lawns were mowed though so outside was better to look at, would’ve made the biggest difference. House was cozy and clean. It’s very suitable if you wanna unwind and chill out. The host was very responsive too. Thanks for the stay

This house was perfect for our family group of 9 adults. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking large meals, and it was great having two full bathrooms. The fire and some heaters kept us warm at night.

The home was amazing, clean, modern and private as well as the added bonus of the spa pool. The beds were very comfy with pristine high quality sheets and blankets - thank you! The home was very warm and cosy, there was plenty of room, great big TV screens, the setting was very peaceful and it was such a bonus to be able to bring our fur baby as well and she just loved the Riverside Ohakune bush walks! The Powder Keg was handy for meals and playing pool, plus the Old Coach Road bike ride was fun! We all had a lovely break away from the city!
