Welcome to our charming thatched farm house anno 1650. The house is fully detached and situated on an old cheese farm. Recently completely renovated, it has a spacious living, kitchen, 3 bedrooms accommodating up to six persons. Situated along the hiking path 'Grote Polderpad', you can visit wind mills, spot waterbirds, and enjoy the alpaca's at our farm (shearing occurs this weekend). The house is ideally located for day trips to the beach, Leiden, Amsterdam, Keukenhof, Kinderdijk, etc.

Beautiful house in the middle of nature and at the same time within cycling distance of the historic center of Leiden, the oldest university city in the Netherlands. The area offers ample opportunities for extensive cycling routes. In addition, within walking distance (800m) is a brasserie where you can enjoy lunch and dinner. Furthermore, it is located between Amsterdam and Rotterdam and 10 minutes drive to The Hague. The location is amazing. Our guests can use 1 parking space on the property. Parties and pets are not allowed.

You can do it all in our cottage in the middle of the island of Hoeksche Waard. But Rotterdam, Dordrecht and Breda are also 30 minutes' drive away and can easily be visited from the location.
