Wir hatten tolle Tage in dem wunderbaren, charaktervollen alten Haus. Die Zimmer und die Stube sind geräumig, hatten mehr als genügend Platz zu 8, und draussen konnten wir die Sonne geniessen. Super Lage direkt am See und Wanderwege gleich hinter dem Haus. Gut konnte Heidy uns vom Bahnhof abholen, sonst wäre es mit Gepäck ein rechtes Stück zu Fuss gewesen. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben bei ihr - und sie weiss allerlei über die Lokalgeschichte zu erzählen!

It was a marvellous expierience to witness the serene landacapes and the natural beauty of Switzerland. We were warmly welcomed by the house owner, Theres and had no inconveniences throughout the entire visit. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the beauty of Swiss.

Absolutely perfect house, beautiful interiors and insanely spotless like I’ve never seen before, it’s practically a showroom from the pages of a magazine! There is a great clear view down to the lake but it’s very close to the neighbours on three sides which I didn’t realize, the garden is practically shared and we were a bit unlucky on our first night the teenagers next door spent the evening having a smoking and drinking (and swearing!) session which put an end to our relaxing evening! But this absolutely beyond the control of the host who was AMAZING. The pool was mildly heated so swimmable in cold weather and would be perfect in summer.

Hugely successful 'once in a lifetime' family skiing trip, largely due to our host John's exceptional help in all matters. There were 17 of us and everbody was happy with their sleeping arrangements. John located us looking lost in town, escorted us up the hill and put chains on our rental car. He was the perfect gentleman, calm, welcoming and helpful. Excellent support before and during our stay. The Racklette John and family produced was delicious, a novel meal and a first for most of us. Lots of little extras, like the Xmas tree and sleds for the kids. So much ice cream we could hardly finish it all! Oh, and the brand new kitchen.

We loved our stay here. Perfect for our family. The location for us was ideal. Picturesque, all that we imagined Switzerland to be. The views every morning every evening are amazing. I am sure it is amazing during winter time as well. For us it was perfect and truth be told well beyond our expectation. Waterfalls mountain views, evening cow bells..what more could we want...and connectivity with trains and buses right out the front door 😍😍 we plan to come back with our second daughter. We experienced sunshine, and rainy weather, both had their own vibe in this chalet. Please know that it is away from busy hustle bustle, but if you crave that Brienze is like 7 miles drive (or you could take the bus) and any location is a train journey away! Spectacular and absolutely amazing hosts, In Spite of having researched our visit I believe I had a lot of questions 😜😜 our host was very quick with responses that were full of insights. Loved our stay.

House is amazing, very big and comfortable. Equipped just like in my own home, it had everything we needed. The location is great (I had a car), right at the center of Switzerland and in the vicinity of pretty much every trendy place in Switzerland (1 hour drive at max) House sits right on the lake so when it’s warm outside you can go swimming or just walk along the lake All over, I can definitely tell this is the best Airbnb I’ve ever had.

Das Haus was sehr gemütlich und hat alles, was es für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Ausserdem war die Kommunikation mit Erica sehr gut, wir haben sogar hilfreiche Wandertipps erhalten. Wir können dieses Haus sehr weiterempfehlen. :)

Strongly recommended for anyone looking for various options in Engelberg and activities in the area. Proximity to Bahnhof and public transportation makes this a great choice, with an option to keep your car in the parking garage. Friendly service, clean and uncluttered apartment makes this a relaxing choice.

Thanks Pascal, it was a great place for me and family. Since the place is at a walkable distance from train station, it really helped us in visiting attractions like Lucerne, Interlaken, Mount Titlis etc. Place also provided with options to cook food. I would recommend this place for anyone who love a peaceful neighbourhood and enjoy the attractions in Switzerland using public transport.

Wir waren bereits zum 2. Mal bei Sabine zu Gast und wir werden wieder kommen. In der Unterkunft mangelt es an nichts! Die Wohnung ist auch für Kinder super eingerichtet: Tripp Trapp, Kindergeschirr, Spielsachen, Babybett und vieles mehr ist vorhanden. Sabine ist eine wirklich tolle Gastgeberin, immer freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause... Vielen Dank!

Katja and Beni were wonderful hosts. The apartment has the most amazing view of the mountains and on a couple of afternoons we sat outside on the terrace in the sunshine with a drink. The interior was absolutely spotless. It looked brand new. Of all the Airbnb’s we have stayed in it had the most well-equipped kitchen, and a very spacious wet room shower in the bathroom. The location was perfect for us. I drove to Hasliberg Reuti (25mins) and got the cable car up to ski, whilst my wife went for walks locally, of which there were many. She used Swisstopo on her phone which is the most amazing map/tracking app. Katja was always responsive when we texted for help. We would definitely stay again when next in the area.

Wir haben uns in der schönen Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Anreise war gut beschrieben und wir wurden herzlich empfangen. In herrlicher Umgebung mit vielfältigen Ausflugszielen haben wir wunderschöne Ferien verbracht und kommen gerne wieder. Werner & Sabine

Die Unterkunft ist problemlos mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar - Postautohaltestelle praktisch vor der Haustür. Wir sind persönlich und sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Makellos saubere und nett möblierte Wohnung und grosszügiger, schön gepflegter Garten mit hochwertigem Mobiliar zum draussen sitzen / liegen & mit traumhafter Aussicht auf die Berge. Gelegen in wunderschöner Umgebung - unglaublich ruhig zum Schlafen. Einkaufsmöglichkeit, Restaurant und Ballenberg-Museum in einer Viertelstunde Gehdistanz oder alternativ mit Postauto erreichbar. Vielen Dank & gerne wiedermal!

Nous avons passé quelques jours très agréables chez Gina et dans la région de Lucerne. Le logement est parfait pour une famille, l'équipement est complet, rien ne manque pour un bon séjour. Un terrain de sport et de jeux est à proximité et il y a un petit magasin dans le village pour les courses. L'accueil est chaleureux.

This was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The view of the mountains and lake is incredible. We arrived to Spring sunny weather but a bit overcast and then woke to an unusual heavy snowfall which was amazing for a family who had never experienced snow before. We were snowed in for half a day as it was too dangerous to drive but we put on a wood fire then watched and played in the snow and it was incredible! The sun came out for the rest of our trip and this location was exactly what we wanted. It’s away from the crowds of other tourist areas like interlaken but still with a car all areas are easily accessible. The house had everything we needed and our hosts were extremely helpful especially Nicole who helped to make sure we kept safe in the unusual weather. We honestly didn’t want to leave. We will remember this place fondly forever.

Tivemos umas férias absolutamente tranquilas e aconchegantes. A casa estava sempre quentinha e confortável, proporcionando o ambiente perfeito para descansar. As redondezas são super bonitas, parece que estamos num cenário de um filme de Natal, e as paisagens são deslumbrantes, saídas de um conto de fadas. Gostamos muito e pensamos em voltar. obrigado

Wir durften eine super Woche in Engelberg verbringen. Es machte Spass in so einer schönen Wohnung zu sein, schön eingerichtet und super Ausstattung!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung! Sie war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Die Räume waren geräumig und gemütlich, sodass wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief reibungslos und unkompliziert. Besonders gefallen hat uns die günstige Lage – perfekt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden – und der wunderschöne Ausblick. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen!

Danke Raphael. Die Wohnung ist super. Volle Punktzahl. Auch die Inneneinrichtung hat uns super gefallen. Tolle Farbenauswahl. Unsere Favoriten die Relax-Sessel. Ausssicht auf dem schönen Balkon ist auch wunderbar. Einzig was wir nicht verstanden haben ist das wir keinerlei Haken gefunden haben um Handtücher aufzuhängen. Sowohl in der Küche wie auch auf dem WC. Auch hätte ich wahrscheinlich eine Schiebetüre anstelle der Schiebetreppe gebaut. Meine Kinder haben in der Nacht lieber den weg über das Schlafzimmer gewählt als die Treppe zu verschieben um die WC-Tür vom Wohnzimmer öffnen zu können. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Liebe Grüsse

If I could give JP ( the host ) a rating of 10 out of 5, I would. He was very responsive and helpful. The apartment was perfect for us and offered great amenities. It was clean and well stocked with additional amenities. Had air conditioning. A perfect location for exploring the central part of Switzerland. I highly recommend this apartment and Sarnen as a location.

O espaço da Bárbara é muito confortável e aconchegante. Está localizado ao lado do lago Brienz com uma paisagem lindíssima. O apartamento é muito limpo e tem banheiro privativo, o que não é fácil de encontrar na Suíça. É um bom ponto para fazer base para os passeios diários de trem, ônibus ou carro. A região é muito linda e vale a pena conhecer. Bárbara sempre esteve disponível a ajudar imediatamente. Enfim, já estou com saudades e quero voltar.
