Vacation rentals with a balcony in Obwalden

VALUE FOR MONEY and the most beautiful location one can imagine. Was a bit far from the train station but was worth every penny spent. The ambience around the area the feel of the place, the view from the property was mesmerising. The supermarkets were 2km away but the host provided us bicycles in the property , so it was easy. Nearby u have BRUNNI, the Hidden gem of Engelberg , a perfect picnic spot for family. A park was also there near the supermarket and the station which had swings and other activities for the kids. Mt titlis was nearby. So all in all a perfect quite place away from the city hussle. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

we had a wonderful time in Engelberg! the accommodation looked better in real life than in the pictures! everything neat and clean and a great kitchen to prepare your own food. Upon arrival, please note that you have to pick up the keys from the tourist agency and it is open until 5 pm. Staff there is really friendly and helpful. So definitely recommended!

The apartment is very close to the train station and the town center, which makes all excursions and errands very easy. The room layout was very pleasant for us (4 adults and 3 children) and the dining area/living area was spacious. We will be happy to come back.

What an incredible house - we felt very privileged to stay in such a wonderful traditional house. It was huge! The downstairs was modernised as in the photos but the upstairs had remained very traditional, which we loved. There was everything you could need in the kitchen, with a large Coop about 15 mins walk away (we didn’t have a car). The house has incredible views of the mountains - sitting on the balcony of my bedroom drinking coffee in the morning you have a view of the Jungfrau - it’s incredible. The sheer beauty of the whole place was wonderful and I am so happy that we found this house - rather than have to take 3 hotel rooms for our family. Jeanette our host was very helpful and welcoming and sent us a very useful video and was very responsive with questions we had. I would definitely return to this house if we return to Interlaken.

Loved it! The view,, I mean wow! It was breathtaking!! 🫶 Sure it took 20 minutes by walk from train station, but it was totally worth it. We stayed for 3 nights! And I wish we’d stayed more. Everyone at interhome was very very nice! I do want to come back for my honeymoon! strongly recommend this place for young people! (Cuz my mom didn’t like the walking part haha)

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as described and the chalet is cozy and beautiful. Very recommended.

The village was very nice. It was very near to many famous places like Interlaken, lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. This house have everything a person need on holidays.

3rd family vacation in Grindelwald. Always a terrific time. This was probably the best of our accommodations in terms of fit for family and value.

Perfect home in the most beautiful valley on earth. Beds and furniture were comfortable, kitchen perfectly equipped, everything was spotless. All of that was great but the VIEW… utterly speechless.
