Vacation rentals with breakfast in Oamaru

Such a gorgeous cottage set in sunny position on the property. So peaceful and a great view from the deck. Liked that it was only 5 min drive out of Oamaru in a quiet rural setting. Very comfortable beds. And kitchen well equipped with all you need. Buddy the dog is delightful and loves back scratches! Dad and I will look forward to the next time we can stay . Highly recommended 😊

Our stay here was nothing short of perfect. The location is great if you want a little more privacy and peace, but not too far that you feel cut off from the busier towns. The home was clean and inviting, the breakfast foods provided were a lovely touch and getting to see the animals was also great. Nicola was an incredible host, even offering to help us get items back that we foolishly left behind! My partner and I would highly recommend staying here and if we are ever back in this part of the world, we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Not a bad word to say. Just wonderful.

What an amazing place. You will not find anywhere like this in New Zealand. The Hut was so cozy and beautifully decorated to feel like home. Fresh baked bread every morning with plunger coffee. And I got to explore the stunning river and countryside with Rumi the dog by my side. And Tim the host was friendly, helpful and great at communicating. I can see why this place is so highly rated.

My partner and I were incredibly excited when we found this listing, and it did not disappoint. Jenny was lovely, came to meet us, and gave us helpful suggestions on the area. The cabin itself was immaculately clean, and wonderfully decorated, with lovely art that tied in with the animals kept on their farm. The amenities were good, and the provided breakfast was a wonderful way to ride me over until we ventured into Oamaru for brunch. Jenny showed us around the property in the morning, and let us (attempt to) feed their lovely alpacas and most excitingly, we got to feed a mother and baby highland cow. It was a wonderful experience and we are very keen to come back! It was also lovely that we were able to bring our dog, who also loved the calm vibes of the property, and all the new smells. I would recommend this stay to anyone seeking a nice, relaxing country getaway. Thanks, Jenny, we had an amazing time.

Extraordinary home, with billiard table and dart. Also the bathroom fully equipped with all you need. I loved it from the beginning. The location is perfect, easy to find at the end of a road. Close to the city Center and old town, close to a park, and close to train tracks, where I now made it, after four times in NZ to see a train in action. And no, it isn’t disturbing. A cute little cosy cabin in a beautiful, tranquil location. I was wanting a getaway from Dunedin for a few days and chanced upon this cabin in Kakanui. I was lucky to have found this enchanted place. Kathrin and Walter were great hosts in going the extra mile in making a shy, private person like me feel comfortable and welcome. They invited me into their home and offered me coffee and kept me warm with their log fire while there was a brief power outage in Kakanui. Their narration of how they first arrived in this country from their home in Switzerland was very interesting and admirable. Kathrin has the gift of being jovial and is a great conversationist. Amazing place. Perfectly clean, comfy bed, quiet, beautiful location. Has all the amenities that you might need. Loved this spot.

Yiling 's apartment was a treasure. Spacious, clean, comfortable...like new. Yiling was always responsive, and even picked our luggage up from the bus station, so my 90 year old friend didn't have to drag it 1 kilometer, as we explored town before our early check-in. I would be happy to stay here on my next visit.
