My family had a great stay here. Alan’s place is exactly as described and even better! All amenities are great, the place is very cozy and clean. They even had a Christmas tree set up which was a great touch! We did a trip into Chester and Bayswater beach which ware both nearby. Would 100% recommend to those looking and would go back in a heartbeat!

Doris’ place was excellent. The house and yard were beautiful, quiet and private with access to the lake. The place offered Something for everyone in our group (7 of us between the ages of 11 and 75 years) to keep entertained and relaxed. We had the best time and would love to stay again. The amenities were as described in the listing and she was a very responsive host!

This house was absolutely perfect for our group of elderly family members over Christmas. There was loads of common space for games and socializing, a beautiful well stocked kitchen, ample bathrooms and bedrooms. Every attention had been paid to making this a welcoming, cozy space for the holiday. They even put up a Christmas tree! If you are looking for a home away from home you won't be disappointed with this beautifully appointed house. Thank you Craig!

The Captain's house in Rose Bay is a great old house with a fantastic location right on the bay with a great view to the bay and Lunenburg. Michael is a great host who was very easy to contact and quick to help with any problems. Despite some sick days, we had a very good relaxing time in the Captain's house.

The house was amazing. Very remote and quiet. But only 30 minutes to busier locations with shopping, restaurants, etc. Within 10 minutes, RoseBay Bistro & Market and Dear Emma Pizza (incredible!) provide all you need otherwise. The beach is incredible. Sitting in the chairs at the edge of the beach, over the dunes, is the perfect spot for morning coffee or a happy hour cocktail! The house design is like a piece of art - the many levels and nooks make it a very unique experience. It is well furnished with all sorts of things you might want to enjoy your stay. Very thoughtful. We look forward to a return visit.

5 Stars – A Perfect Retreat! Red Horseshoe Retreat on Horseshoe Lake was exactly what I needed – peaceful, rejuvenating, and beautiful. From the moment we arrived, the views of the lake were stunning, especially while relaxing in the hot tub – absolute bliss! The lake house is cozy, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The beds were super comfy, and there were plenty of games to enjoy during our downtime. Lois and David are wonderful hosts – kind, responsive, and always making sure their guests feel welcome and cared for. This truly felt like a home away from home, and I left feeling refreshed in mind, body, and soul. I can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed a family weekend at Arin and Tobias' for my sons 19th birthday celebration. Their home is spacious, clean and both hosts are accomodating, friendly and welcoming. We had everything we needed in a beautiful home with equally beautiful surroundings. We seal watched at the rocky unkept beach close by, there were several seals right next door. Some of the brave ones even swam at Cherry Hill beach in cold temperatures just a 15 minute walk from this air bnb (beautiful walking or swimming beach!) Highly recommend them for a comfortable and peaceful stay!

I can't begin to explain the scerene beauty that this place Tania's place offers. Stunningly beautiful views and a sunrise that leaves you breathless. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and their amazing dogs made the whole place feel like home. We will definitely be back. If I could ever recommend somewhere to be near Halifax but out of this city this hidden gem is an absolute must!!!

Amazing stay in an adorable, well furnished and colorful cottage close to the sea. The cottage itself has everything you need, including a wonderful hot tube. The location is just perfect, very quite and close to the sea as of the main touristic attractions. Last but not least, Sean and his husband were fantastic and so friendly - they made our stay even better. We Will definitely come back :)

The Peggy's Cove house is absolutely beautiful and the view and surroundings are spectacular!! The house has been restored to perfection and beautifully decorated. We didn't cook during our stay but it appeared to have all the essentials needed to prepare whatever meal you may want. We stayed 3 nights and would have loved to stay longer. Time just didn't allow. We certainly plan to return to this lovely home on the rocky shore of Peggy's Cove. Oh.....Peggy's Cove Lighthouse is directly across from the house. What more could you ask for?!!! Thank you Peter and Suzanne for sharing your home with our family!!
