10 mins out of town on 1.5 acres you'll be in your own slice of jungle paradise. Well appointed property and maintained very well considering northern Australia's bug/insect population - we only had to contend with some small ants and geckos. The hosts are extremely responsive and helpful but not overbearing at all. Enjoy the are and sculptures throughout the yard while you listen to the sounds of the forest. Pay attention to the access instructions and you'll have no issues finding the property. During wet season the beach access track may be flooded, the beach is a 2 min drive otherwise. We enjoyed Hook-A-Barra, Daintree Discovery Centre (ferry is $50 return), Mossman Gorge, Port Douglas markets, 4 mile beach swimming, Rattle N Hum pub, Salsas grill, Muddys Cafe (Cairns), Kuranda Butterfly Sanctuary, Kuranda Koala Centre and Kuranda markets. It's hot at Christmas! Commit to the heat, expect to sweat and you'll enjoy a lack of crowds and mimimum queue times.

Breathtaking location directly at the beach, very tasteful interior - it was an excellent stay!

Our stay with Robyn was great! We didn’t actually meet her but she was very quick to respond over the App. The apartment has everything one needs, is clean and there is lots of attention to detail. Our highlights were the washing machine, private parking and swimming pool! We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Port Douglas.

Amazing - my favourite air bnb stay so far! She was so friendly, bed was soooo comfortable and apartment is absolutely beautiful. Julie forgot the wine and dropped off early next morning as organised without us mentioning a thing, we also requested extra towels nothing was too difficult. I will 100% be back!!
