Definitely recommend! Stayed with my boyfriend to see a concert and everything is 15-20 minutes away- good location. Very clean and host is responsive

Very clean and cozy, the shower and hot water was great, bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Parking serves a bit of a challenge, but not to hard to find a street spot. Felt pretty safe in the area and would definitely stay again!

Alex was an extremely responsive and helpful host. My friend and I were in town for a weekend for a wedding. Montclair is a beautiful city with so many things to do but also not too far to access the city (40 minutes) if you would like to make a day trip. Alex's place made for a relaxing stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This is the perfect Airbnb for those who want a cute, quiet stay in a lively neighborhood with super easy access to NYC. There are so many great restaurants and shops in walking or short driving distance. The train station across the street has trains that go directly into Penn Station in NYC in 40 mins for $8 which was so convenient. The apartment was clean, spacious, and looked exactly like the pictures. My partner and I thought the bed in the larger bedroom was fairly comfortable, although the pillows weren’t our favorite. The couch had some stains but were covered up by blankets, which wasn’t a huge deal. However, the rest of the apartment was spotless. Unlocking the door to the building wasn’t the most intuitive since you have to use an app on your phone, but after struggling for a few minutes initially, it was just fine! The host was very helpful with questions and responded quickly, which I appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others! :)

The apartment was squeaky clean and everything worked well. It is very pleasing to the eye. The bed is very comfortable. The parking area is fenced and on property with striping and parking spot numbers. It is a basement apartment with little to no noise from above. The shelved walk-closet was a wonderful asset for packing and unpacking. WE HAD A GLITCH OF MY OWN MAKING AT 11 AT NIGHT . Mr. Omeilie responded instantaneously fixing the situation without so much as a whisper of complaint. Apparently, during renovation, he resized the entry steps to modern standards with lower steps and deeper platforms and added a real handrail. A great visit!

10/10 recommend Shelly and Abe’s place! It was the perfect sanctuary to retreat back to after a long day of exploring New York City. The decor is lovely, it has everything you need and a comfortable bed to sleep in. It is a beautiful building in a great area and in walking distance to Penn Station which made our commute to the city easy. We had a great stay!

The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable! Super cute and the neighborhood is gorgeous…walking distance to an awesome park and more.

First, the property is located in an upscale neighborhood. Location, location, location. It's walkable to Whole Foods and several restaurants. You see people walking their dogs, some jogging and others just out for a stroll in this tree-lined neighborhood of historic homes. We stayed in the second floor that had one king bed and, there was another bedroom with a queen. The second floor is spacious and decorated as depicted in the photos. The living room has a large screen TV with a comfortable safe. The dining room has a large dining room table. The yard is well landscaped with beautiful plants and flowers. Off-street parking behind the home is available. Overall, it's just a wonderful and relaxing place. As mentioned, in an earlier review the water pressure is slightly weak. Sherry is a 5-star host. She offered to get anything we needed upon arrival. Highly recommand and we'll certainly will be back.

A lovely spot to stay! Booked for a weekend to attend a friend’s wedding nearby and it was a great home base. The unit was set up well for a stay, had clear instructions for utilities, and as a bonus the decor was cool! Would recommend staying here.

I had an amazing stay! The house was spotless, well-organized, and incredibly spacious—perfect for a long-term stay. It had everything I needed, and if I could’ve stayed longer, I absolutely would have. The photos are accurate, but the place is even better in person. The only downside is the parking, which other reviewers also mentioned. It can be a bit of a challenge, especially after 5pm, but if you're home during the day, it’s manageable; you can often find a spot when others leave. On the plus side, the neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors I encountered were friendly, and appropriate if and when I had to walk back at night. Generally safe place. Parking enforcement is strict, and tickets are common, but I stayed for over a month without getting one. Just be careful to read the signs and avoid yellow curbs. The hosts were great, super responsive and flexible. This is easily one of my favorite Airbnbs, and I would definitely stay here again!

The stay was very conveniently located, close to the bus that runs to and from New York City. It was in a very nice and stately apartment building. The materials used in the interior were very high quality. Waking up every morning with a view of the New York skyline was magical! A beautiful stay where we would come back soon!

We had a truly pleasant stay here! The place looked exactly like the photos—if not better in person. It was clean, stylish, and had a very inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights was the unique and thoughtfully designed dog park—such a rare find and perfect for pet owners. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making everything smooth and enjoyable. Without a doubt, I’ll choose to stay here again the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommended!

My partner and I enjoyed a pleasant stay in New Jersey while attending the Cowboy Carter concert at MetLife Stadium. The home is conveniently located just a short drive from MetLife Stadium, the American Dream Mall, and NJ Transit, which provides easy access to New York City.

This Apt. was better then heaven. The view to Hudson River, the quietness, the charming interior and the bike path along the river are unique. We want to come again.

Nicely renovated basement apartment. Ben was a wonderful host and made our stay comfortable. Kitchen had everything that we needed and having a designated parking spot was great. It is a short walk away from the apartment. Backyard was ideal has we were traveling with our dog. Location was perfect for our event at Liberty State Park. Would recommend if you plan to visit Jersey City.

The view is priceless. By day, by night, anytime. The apartment itself is great, too: spacious, well furnished, a huge kitchen, perfectly equipped. Less than 20 minutes by bus to Times Square, but located in a calm and safe neighborhood across the Hudson River. For some, the steps up to the fifth floor might be an impediment, but that’s really the only issue I could think of. Absolute recommendation!

A very cute home! It’s just like home and so cozy. Extremely clean. And OMG we love the shower lol. It’s not too far from the city. We went to the Governs Ball which we definitely recommend!! Really close to the subways and other transportation. Hosts were very friendly and responsive!
