Temaeva was always ready to help and even took me around in her car to show me Taiohae. The bungalow is clean and well located, perfect as a basis to explore Nuku Hiva. I recommend!

The house offered everything we needed, and even air conditioning in the room, luxury! The meals prepared by Debora were delicious, including vegetables and salads, very nice! And the big plus point is Debora's immense knowledge of the Marquesan islands, their history and culture, then what she herself was an actress directly of this relatively recent cultural awakening with her husband Lucien The stories they told us at night made our evenings very enjoyable, and we learned a lot, thank you Debora! Debora also offers 4x4 day trips around the island and drop us off at the start of the hikes, it was great! She also helped us find a hike in Cheval, which we did with Kevin, great we recommend +++ Thanks again Debora, happy hosting!

Our 3-night stay at Sandra and Bernard's Ti Amara Lodge was very pleasant, their welcome at the airport and all the information given during the journey and then during our stay was very helpful to discover Nuku Hiva. Le Fare is very nice with a great view and the possibility to rent a car on site is a plus. This accommodation is perfect for staying in Nuku Hiva. It is close to everything and allows walking around the village. Everything is very clean and well maintained and the hosts are adorable. They are not necessarily on site all the time but we can solicit them without any worries. I will go back without hesitation!
