Chanbor’s place its amazing, my daughter and I had a beautiful time during the jungle hike and just hanging out with chanbor and Luis was amazing. The best part of my staying is the temezcal experience. This amazing place is highly recommended

Wondrous. A comfortable room and dining area located remarkably in the Lacandan selva. My guides were amazing, I encountered wonderful birds, swam in gorgeous waterfalls and spent time in the lost city. I’m so grateful to have found Chanbor’s place. One recommendation—definitely follow the instructions and map your route before you leave. Also, attend to the photos. You’ll know you’re there because it will match the photos—

The experience was very father but as a recommendation if you go in your particular car when you arrive at the Bonampak parking lot you do not get into the taxi , it indicates that you go straight to community because they are very insistent that you pay them $600 and that there you are going to see Chambor ( Chambor was very kind and we shared the communiqué that the rate was $500 and then the taxi drivers do not respect it, so they prepare more money , since this is independent to Chambor ) there is no signal , there is a network to contact him. They have many packages , which they share before you arrive to review times and activities . The food and attention of everyone in the community was very friendly . Everything excellent :)

Loved getting to stay here. In a beautiful garden/jungle, a very secluded place off the beaten path. Ismael and his family are so welcoming and kind, and very helpful. Just know the place is quite rustic/primitive. They took us to Bonampak for a good price and offered tours to the jungle and waterfall.
