The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and a very welcome retreat after spending a week on a small boat. All the facilities to cook and cater for ourselves, a cosy place to eat and relax, and very comfortable beds. Two very happy travellers!

Lofoten Rorbuer - Rome 207 "Midnight Sun"

Very good, we had a room with private bathroom and kitchenette. The room was a bit small, otherwise very good. The common kitchen was very good, so ended up not using the in-room kitchenette. Very good cleanliness of the room and common spaces.

Lofoten Rorbuer - Rom 201 "Lofoten"

Very nice place! Friendly and peaceful with great common areas to relax in. They had blankets and games and puzzles for the porch area. Just note that you are a little out of town so if you don’t have a car you’ll need to walk 20 minutes for food. It’s a beautiful walk though!

the room was comfortable. Pleasantly surprised by the self-service grocery store in the lobby that allows you to buy food and other essentials. Coffee also available. Large parking lot. Very close to Vilhelmina Airport. Snowmobile and ski trails are also very close.

I didn’t plan on staying here but I had to get a room after the Gamsøy Bridge was closed. I was really surprised by how well equipped and nice the room I got was. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bathroom is beautiful. I can imagine if the hostel is fully booked it will be a little bit more crowded but I can definitely recommend staying here.

Andrew runs a lovely hostel located in some old villas. There are plenty off nice seating areas everywhere, overall the place is quite cozy. The breakfast they offer is very nice for hostel standards, even plant milk was offered which I really appreciated. Some restaurants are reachable by walk, but it will take you some 20 minutes. Overall this is a good starting point for exploring Dalarnas. Andrew is a quiet guy but super helpful if you have any questions or need help. Breakfast is 100 SEK, washing is 50 SEK (10 SEK being ~1€ while I was in Sweden).
