This house is a true gem in Lofoten — peaceful, beautiful, cosy, and wonderfully private all at once. Inside, it’s spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax. Runa and Johan are exceptional hosts — thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely warm. One memorable example of their kindness happened while we were in Svolvær. A rockfall occurred on the E10 road near Røvik, which led to the road being closed and made it impossible for us to drive back to our accommodation. Fortunately, Runa and Johan went above and beyond to help us. They not only offered us helpful advice, but also kindly drove to the harbor to pick us up and brought us safely back to the house. We are truly grateful for their generosity and support — they made our stay even more special.

My wife and I loved our stay! The house was clean, tidy and comfortable. The surrounding view was exceptional, all visible from the hot tub which was all too welcoming after a few days of hiking! Would recommend to anyone! 😁

The house is located in an exceptional setting. We were very generously hosted by Lars who we thank very much for his responsiveness and hospitality. We were able to enjoy the pool table, boat and hot tub. Everything was perfect! The nearby shops are also a real plus. We hope to be back, as we had a time out. Thanks for everything!

We enjoyed a week in the cabin. Feels like home and is very cozy and clean. Has everything you need. The quality and comfort of the bed is very good, but the bed itself can be a bit narrow if you are not used to it. I believe it is 120 cm, but we slept well in it. The evenings in the hot tub were perfect to end the day!

Stunning views and location, and so cozy. Highlights are the jacuzzi, sauna, access to take a dip in the fjord, the fireplace in the living room, the comfy beds, and fully kitted out kitchen with a great coffee machine. Host was very nice and always responsive. Highly recommend!

We felt like at home and had a very pleasant stay at the house. Firing in the fireplace in the morning and looking out at nature was super cozy.

Great view, on a farm with chickens, sheeps, cats and a rooster! Great base for hiking and climbing. It is their home so fully equipped.

Anne Kristin’s place was the perfect place for a two day stay, beautiful surroundings and privacy. Anne gave us clear instructions about check in, check out and how things like radiators and kitchen work, totally recommend it

The house was very clean and the beds were good. The kitchen was well equipped and the stay absolutely met expectations. We brought two dogs, and it was very convenient that it was possible to close the terrace with a gate, so the dogs could walk loose around us.

The apartment is located in a quiet area at the top of the mountain. The bus stop is a few hundred meters away. Across the street you have a beautiful view of the city, on the last evening we watched the northern lights over the house, the city and the Storsteinen from there, really very nice. For skiers (cross-country skiing), the area is perfect. In the immediate vicinity are several illuminated cross-country trails (e.g. Charlottenlund or Prestvatnet). I also liked the Tromsø Alpine Park. They are very nice hosts, I didn't have to ask any questions, as everything was already answered via the Airbnb app (code for the key box, Wi-Fi, garbage separation, access to the apartment, ...). Since it was not my first stay in Tromsø, I did not need excursion tips, but there are several brochures for this on the shelf. By bus you are in the city in about 10 minutes. The surroundings (generally northern Norway) are beautiful.

The cabin is beautiful and totally cozy. We felt right at home and would have liked to have stayed longer. Definitely recommended! Thanks again to Bjørn for the tips on the moose and musk oxen.

Willem's place was very nice and matches the pictures and description in the listing. Extra plus because the linens were missing and that the host had prepared a fire in the fireplace for arrival. Willem (and his wife) were nice and helpful and went beyond their hosting when they even arranged two bottles of wine for our company. A gold star for the hosts and this home is highly recommended!

Really impressive place with lots of space. Definitely suited for bigger groups, but also worth it, if your traveling alone. Just wandering around and exploring the place is a lot of fun. Communication with Marianne was nice and smooth.

Wonderful stay at Inger's place. The place was very nice and the surroundings surrounded by nature quite what we needed. Inger and her husband were adorable with recommendations and always attentive. Many activities in the area. It was a lovely stay.

A great villa with many accommodation options. Especially great: the two huge Lego boxes 😍 It took some getting used to that the two bathrooms have separate entrances, but are only separated from each other by a shower curtain. However, this was also described in the property description. Oyvind was also helpful in finding a ski school or recommending restaurants! All in all a great place to stay. Highly recommended!

The views are magical from the porch , sauna and jacuzzi absolutely superb. Very good kitchen and place for many in the house. Close to the hike, ski and fishing , Ludvig is a helpful host.
