Its south-facing garden includes outside dining, wood-fired hot tub, and large lawn, home to wildlife and fruit-bearing trees. The wooden cabin, Haven on the Hill, fully insulated build on an elevated platform with views looking over the Forest of Dean. A private and secluded dwelling situated in our grounds near our home. With good pubs and walks nearby this cabin is perfect for a stay away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Full electrics, bathroom with shower, cooking facilities including a wood fired pizza oven. Easy access parking,a donkey & a sheep to keep you company! Pets welcome with plenty of walks.

The Nest at Rose Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set in a beautiful rural environment but less than half an hour from the historic city of Gloucester or the delightful market town of Ross on Wye. The Forest of Dean is on our doorstep where many activities can be enjoyed, from wonderful woodland walks, cycling pursuits, walking llamas or adventurous climbing pursuits to name a few. There are also a variety of walks you can take directly from The Nest, so ideal for guests with their dog.

On the edge of The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, this cosy getaway is a professionally converted and exquisitely decorated annex to our main property. This conversion was completed in 2022. PLEASE NOTE... You are welcome to use the woodburner during the summer months (May - Sept inclusive) but I do not supply firewood during this period. Please bring your own supplies of firelighters, kindling and logs if you would like an inside fire during the summer.
