Lesley and Josh's Airbnb made our home away from home a welcoming experience during a difficult time, while going through lengthy home repairs. We found the self-contained apartment to be very clean and well outfitted for all of our needs. If we were in need of something, they were more than happy to accommodate. We greatly appreciated that the house was on an older established street in a safe and quiet neighbourhood and within walking distance to the downtown core. Lesley and Josh were perfect hosts and they both made us feel welcomed throughout the many weeks of our stay with them. We had such a fantastic stay at Dave and Bonnie's place! We decided to make a trip up to lakefield and wanted to get away and it was perfect. It's right beside the river if you want to ride the trail but its also perfect if you want to just stay in. The hot tub and sauna is such a great combination to enjoy and enough amenities indoors that you can cook a nice meal and enjoy a movie. The bed was perfectly soft and the washroom was great. They were very responsive and we can't wait to go back. If you're taking a trip to Lakefield, definitely stop looking and book this!

Beautiful unit, very clean and spacious. Loved the ceiling height and heated bathroom floor. Our party was there for a wedding at Whispering Springs which is about a 5-minute walk to the main parking lot.

Brenda’s Airbnb was a hidden oasis! Nestled on a quiet street, we had the entire lower level to ourselves - which was spacious and clean. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a tranquil escape.

We had a great night at hidden retreat! David was so welcoming, friendly and easy to communicate with. The rooms were great and the property is beautiful. We enjoyed time around the pool, using the hot tub and sitting around the fire at night. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Rachel is a great host, eventhough we booked the place very last minute. She is accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The place itself is great too. It’s very spacious and has everything you need (even bikes!). There are lots of things in walking distance and perfect if you want to enjoy a quiet weekend off.

Danielle’s place is very clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The place looks very similar to the photos and was easily walkable to local restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you Danielle!!

Photos don’t do it justice - this Airbnb is truly incredible! Terry and Christie put a lot of time and care into this property and it really shows. The garden is themed after the wind in the willows, and features many nooks like the hot tub, a beautiful outdoor dining area, and multiple lake lookouts including “Mole End” which is a little cozy cabin overlooking the water, becoming a favourite spot for me and my partner to have a drink and play board games. The place is also incredibly quiet and private. Although the suite is technically attached to the hosts house, it is completely soundproof and they offer full privacy for the garden, pool, hot tub etc throughout the stay. I cannot emphasize enough how much care was put into this airbnb - including little chocolates and even croissants and smoked salmon for breakfast! This is the perfect place to go to rest and rejuvenate and my partner and I are already planning our return :)

Thanks Chris and Mariah for a memorable stay! A beautiful accommodation and location. Every detail of the interior and exterior is carefully considered, from non-IKEA dinnerware to perfectly stocked cabinets to comfortable mattresses and remote-controlled LED flickering candles we used as nightlights in the bathroom. Two different guests occupied the other half of the building during our stay and there were zero noise or privacy concerns as expectations for both sides are well communicated with reminders around the property. We felt we were there alone. Thoroughly enjoyed our getaway, and our inboxes are overflowing with questions about the place after a post of social media. Highly recommend!

Me and my friends had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, peaceful, and fully equipped with everything we needed. One of the highlights was definitely the beautiful sunset views, and the gorgeous fire-pit which made the evenings especially memorable. The decor was also a standout, with unique antique touches throughout that gave the space so much character and charm. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The amenities were top-notch, and the location was quiet and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, always available if I needed anything. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-curated stay. I’d love to come back!

Beautiful property on a quiet dead end street. Christine is very responsive when you need something but gives you your space otherwise. The grounds are beautiful and the apartment was extremely clean and well equipped. Christine has thought of everything. Highly recommended this place!
