Lovely place for a getaway with friends or family. The place is a wonderful blend of cozy, homey and modern decor and the living space was immaculately cleaned. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and the basics. Loved the meadow outback for a quick stretch of the legs. Location is excellent with access to so many interesting galleries, shops, restaurants and parks within a short driving distance. Would definitely recommend to others.

If you are looking for a unique, magical, stay with breathtaking views within an hour and a half from Toronto look no farther than Debbie’s Haute Goat Farm! Thank you for welcoming us into your cozy farm and allowing us to see just how rewarding the country life is. Thank you Hitarth for the delicious breakfast and local recommendations and the rest of the team for allowing us to join in on the morning barn chores (which was more fun than work and included lots of goat cuddles). Will definitely be visiting the farm again as soon as possible!

Beautiful unit, very clean and spacious. Loved the ceiling height and heated bathroom floor. Our party was there for a wedding at Whispering Springs which is about a 5-minute walk to the main parking lot.

Heather’s house was a fantastic place to spend the weekend in PEC! The house and property were beautiful, spotless and came stocked with any and every amenity you might need. The location was also great as it was private but still close to many wineries. Heather was friendly, informative and responsive and made the entire process easy. We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a getaway in the county!

This farm is incredibly well maintained, the animals seem so happy, and doing the morning chores was not a chore at all - was an awesome, unique experience. The cabin was cozy and super clean, as were the shared washrooms. All staff and volunteers are welcoming, polite and helpful. Debbie herself was a delight! The Screaming Goat Cafe had great selection and the food was delicious! It was lovely to unwind, bond with the animals, and stargaze; and we're looking forward to returning next year to try out one of their Yomes [yurt+dome]!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay in the yome - loved looking at the stars at night and meeting the animals in the morning! Breakfast was incredible, thanks for opening your farm to us!

We had a great stay at Kat's farm. First off: THE ANIMALS. I think the listing downplays how many animals there really is and how much you can interact with them. we especially loved the kind and loveable turkey Cornelius who loved slowly following us around. Besides that we had a blast giving love to the goats, sheep, pigs, doggos, roosters, horses and the donkey Hummer. The house was immaculately clean and the beds were comfortable. We also used the pool both nights which was really nice to have There is the possibility that you'd also be sharing the house and amenities with other guests so just a heads up. A truly unique stay worth considering or at least visiting for a day trip to meet the animals.

Christy and Jeff's place was so beautiful, calm and lovely to stay in. We had a peaceful weekend stay and found the space cozy with many games, books and farm animals just outside the door. Meeting the animals one of the higlights of our stay and Cristy and Jeff were so friendly and responsive to our questions anytime. Highly recommend for a quite and peaceful getaway from the city and loved interacting with the animals. Hoping to be back soon someday!

Our wknd away at this peaceful and very private oasis was just what the doctor ordered! We had the greatest time there. It was so beautiful and quiet that I'd often forget where in the world we were. It had everything we needed and more. Camilla was an excellent host and was always quick to reply if I had a question. I'd definitely recommend this little gem to anyone looking to go off the grid for a few days to recharge and enjoy everything nature has to offer!

If there’s a place surrounded by nature’s magic, and peace, then this is it. Everything was perfect, we went there to work on some music with all our gear and enjoyed the time. John is friendly and very kind, the hospitality is cherry on the top ❤️

Sam was a great host and was there when we needed him for clarifications. He was flexible for an early check-in.He promptly provided us with all the information we needed about the place. The house was spacious and contained everything we needed. We were group of eight and the main floor was big enough to live comfortably. Had Beautiful views from the windows as described. The beds were comfortable, bathroom were spotless clean. Location was incredible....so close to the provincial parks. We had a great stay, felt very comfortable, and safe. We just loved every minute of our visit.

Brandon and Adrian were terrific hosts! They responded very quickly and were very accommodating to our needs/requests. Check-in instructions were super detailed, helpful and welcoming. The home had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The farm is a beautiful place and we so appreciate the time the both of them took to introduce us to the goats and flock and show us their gorgeous garden. It is clear they put in a lot of hard work to ensure their animals and visitors are well cared for because it is a calm and happy place. Ziggy and Gemma are adorable, friendly and affectionate pups. The swimming pond is clean, has a few toys and was very enjoyable on hot afternoons. Having the opportunity to also purchase some of their delicious freshly picked produce from their garden was also super handy! The location was ideal for us too. Close to a town and 10 minutes from Belleville. It is about a 30 min drive to Prince Edward County, which has some great wineries, breweries, restaurants and art galleries. We brought our dog and she felt right at home and loved the space to run around. She is a 6-year-old golden retriever and is well trained and listens while off leash. It was her first time near farm animals. At first it was her instinct to give chase and she frightened one of the chickens. However, after a couple of days of my watchful eye and a bit of coaching she learned to be gentle and kind to the goats and the roaming flock. One of the draws for us was that this stay allowed pets. If your dog has the instinct to chase, my recommendation is to keep them on leash and introduce them slowly. Thank you Adrian and Brandon – we had a fabulous time and would love to stay again!

Such a lovely stay here. Beautiful view and cozy inside space. Would recommend for anyone looking for a getaway and nature connection.

All was good for our big group. Only ask is the Fans as there is no A/C and configuring the fans to work all day was a bit tricky as they operate via solar panels Otherwise great place lots of space

Hunt House was exactly what we needed! We were 4 couples staying for a mini reunion and the accommodations were perfect. The bedrooms are all sizable and the beds are cozy. The dining and living rooms were all big enough to accommodate 8 adults comfortably and we never felt like we were on top of eachother. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils. The pool and lounge area were wonderful over a warm, sunny weekend. Olivia was prompt to respond and easy to communicate with. We are so grateful for the space. Thank you for everything! We hope to come back again.

This is a gem hidden in a beautifully treed private area. Our host was very responsive responding to our communications very quickly. The house is exactly as advertised with a few pleasant surprises. Sitting on the deck watching the trees sway was incredibly relaxing. We had a great stay & would recommend it to anyone who wants a private get away.

I had a wonderful stay at Kat's home,among her friendly dogs and cats. I loved the yoga classes, the amazing breakfast and the picture perfect landscape around her property. Great place to relax and detach from the city. Kat is an amazing person and will be happy to come back next time!

Kat’s place is an oasis - the perfect sanctuary for the mind and body, as well as for an incredible variety of animals. We loved our stay with Kat. From booking the place through to our check out she was helpful, responsive, and friendly. Her place is relaxing and fun, a quiet getaway and has great food and activities. Kat led us in an excellent morning yoga class, complete with fun barnyard noises, a goat joining us, and puppy kisses while we stretched and relaxed. It is close to many activities and parks, or the perfect spot for relaxing by the pool. We truly loved our stay here and do not have a single negative comment about it. We would come back in an instant. Thank you Kat!!

Julian was an extremely responsive host who always was there at a minutes notice. Aspects of the place were even nicer than the pictures like the backyard patio of the Stonehouse and the Stonehouse livingroom. Had plenty of things to do for entertainment and pretty close to town. Has a real cottage/summer home vibe. Had PLENTY of space for 16 of us. Water pressure was a bit low in the Cottage house at times without any other taps running to interfere. Julian left hand written notes for different things around the house and even said we were able to take some plants that were already potted. A+

We had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful, incredible views, surrounded by nature, basketball and pickleball court was a huge plus, beach nearby, the house was fully stocked with everything we needed, and Alison was helpful and kind. I recommend bringing your own pillow just in case the large bed pillows don’t work for you. They were too big for most of our group. I highly recommend Alison’s home. We will be back!

Peaceful stay in a beautiful setting. Kat is a lovely host. My daughter and I enjoyed great morning yoga sessions followed by delicious vegan breakfasts. We had so much fun with the rescued farm animals. They provide endless entertainment and great photo ops! The Lotus Room was spacious and comfortable with an ensuite bath. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
