Family-friendly vacation rentals in Northern Neck

This was an amazing place! We loved the clean, comfortable rooms, the service was great, the pool and mini golf were so fun! And location- perfect!!

Peaceful location and just the right size. We enjoyed our time sitting on the porch reading, eating and just rocking in the large rocking wooden rocking chairs while chatting. We watched the ducks and geese on the lake. In the evenings, we could see the turtles stick their heads out of the water. Although there was lots to do, we only took advantage of the pools. If you are someone who wants to be doing something and planning activities to keep little ones busy, you have lots of options at the resort where this cabin is located.

We booked Vacation Village 4br timeshare through Andy but it was full. Andy was able to leverage his connections and find us a 3br HOUSE at Kings Creek Plantation through Spinnaker which was better, I think! We had a full 3br/4bath house to ourselves with three porches in a peaceful setting. Absolutely recommend Kings Creek Plantation through Andy. Close to everything and amazing setting. So quiet and pencil. We will be back!

It was a perfect little get away, while learning colonial history! Definitely recommend coming back when it is warmer out!

We had a great stay at Eddie's place! Very close to restaurants, Colonial Williamsburg, and Busch Gardens. The unit we stayed in was spotless and had all of the amenities that we needed during our stay. Highly recommended!

Fantastic house in a great location. The surrounding park is beautiful and the location is incredibly peaceful. The house was great and met our needs perfectly. Two beds and a pull out sofa. Living room and kitchen has everything you’d need. Check in and out was as simple as possible. Enjoyed staying here!

Great place in a great location. We loved having our own space with two bedrooms and a full kitchen only a short drive from Colonial Williamsburg.

10 minutes from everything to do. Great restaurants in the area. Quiet peaceful place. Hot tub and pool amenities were excellent.

The Little House was a sweet and ideal getaway spot! The property is gorgeous, and the area of Deltaville and other surrounding towns are definitely worth the experience. Highly recommend!

It ought to be a collection of Such's and So's. Such a nice place and so quiet. So well decorated with taste and quality materials. Such a relaxing spot so close to the water. So so so good cookies and muffins. And last but not least, so nice people. Very lively and cheerfull Tanya, very calm, quiet and peacefull John (still amazed, 40 years later and apparently, by his wife who may still have more energy than any soldier he faced throughout his carreer . Is there any use to add we enjoyed very much being there and highly recommend the Birds nest ? Daniel

Melinda’s apartment was so homey and inviting. We loved spending time here. It was the perfect place to relax and a great jumping off point for all the sites we wanted to see. The neighborhood was quiet and the space had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

If you want a rustic log cabin, this is as good as it gets. The place was awesome. Fireplaces were great. Great beds. Comfortable couches. If you’re looking for seclusion, this probably isn’t the space, but we knew that going into the stay!

This was our second stay with Bob and Lolly in Tall Timbers, and it did not disappoint! Immersed in books and history, this quaint cottage was the perfect getaway. We are looking forward to our next visit!

This was place was amazing to stay at! The house was as pictured, plenty of room/beds for our friend group, and awesome backyard with a pickleball court that’s in great condition! Frank was really responsive and such a nice host. There was even a box of donuts waiting for us as we checked in which were so delicious! (Thanks Frank!) The only thing I’d say could have been improved is that the outside grill area was not very clean (broken glass bottles, multiple dead lighters, rust build up on the grill cover, etc.) but everywhere else in the backyard was nice and tidy. Also, it’s entirely alley/street parking which got a little rough with needing to park a few cars from our group. Overall this place is definitely worth it!! And it was so close to everything we wanted to go to. Would definitely recommend this place to any big group wanting to experience the Richmond area.

It was such an amazing experience. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer. The backyard was magical, and as we were doing art together, the decor in the house was inspiration everywhere you turned. Highly recommend it.

This house and stay were exactly what we needed! We are a quiet family that loves peaceful spaces. The home was beautiful, well maintained, clean, updated, and extremely well appointed. Access to both the beach and lake was easy, as was getting into and out of town. Jack proactively reached out to us when we got there to ensure everything was in order and offered assistance if we needed anything. We didn’t need anything during the week but we felt good knowing he was available. We met some of the neighbors in passing and they were friendly and welcoming, too. Wonderful experience!

It was a comfy stay in a beautiful marinia. The house was clean and the beds were soft. It did well for me and my 4 kids who each had their own bed. The landscape of the place and the sunsets were great! It was quite, tranquil with beautiful warm and sunny days. I would go back. Very easy check in and out.A lot to do in the area.

All I can say is WOW! We were blown away at the beauty of the home AND the view! Relaxing and peaceful. The pool was to die for and Kathleen was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had in all our air bnb travel!!! Will definitely return AND will check out her other properties in the future. We stayed at this terrific property for our annual family vacation. The vote is in, everyone had a great time! Our hosts David and Jerry were very responsive and helpful and check in was easy. David was there to greet us and give us a quick tour and helpful tips on local activities. The pool was fantastic. It was warm and the perfect spot to hang out during the day. The dock was a great place to walk out to in the morning, watch the lovely sunsets at night, do a little fishing and a great way to launch the stand up paddly boards we brought. The house is great, was clean with plenty of room for a group of 10 (7 adults and 3 teenagers). In the evening we could hang out in the game room and play cards or could hang out and watch TV in the TV room. Both ground floor rooms open to the pool. We also appreciated all the little extras like plenty of garbage bags, paper towels, cleaning supplies, water and more. The whole gang highly recommends this property. Thanks we will be back

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were so responsive and so friendly. They were very accommodating and very understanding that we had a small child there were children’s books and the environment was so clean. I would 100% stay again and I’m so happy with the experience that we had.

My husband and I along with our 2 dogs had great weekend stay at the Williamsburg campground. The cabin was just very clean and comfortable with all we needed for the weekend. The campground itself was wonderful with plenty of things to do, although we were there to explore Williamsburg and surrounding areas. overall a great stay and would definitely return again!!

What a lovely stay! Incredibly charming home with such hospitable hosts. Our group felt comfortable and relaxed. Picturesque environment.
