Vacation rentals with lake access in Northamptonshire

Such a rare find in such a beautiful location. We loved having nature on your doorstep and enjoyed how peaceful the surroundings are. The cabin felt like a home aways from home and the whole family enjoyed it, especially the dog. We were even lucky to see a few calfs that were only a few hours old in the barn.

A lovely place to stay, with great garden views from the living room and bedroom. Walking distance from Rutland water, and other good walks in the area as well.

We loved our stay at the cottage, it was so cosy and we felt right at home. It was exactly as described, very peaceful surroundings and Charlotte left some great recommendations for us.

We used James’ AirBnB the night before I got married and it was exactly the right place to be before such an important day! Clean, clear instructions to find and enter, and lots of amenities to help relax before the big day!

We had a wonderful stay at Lucy’s place. The coach house is very comfortable and the gardens are stunning, we underestimated how extensive and beautiful they would be. The pool is lovely too. The location is a great place to explore the Cotswolds and we’d recommend booking a table at the local pub for dinner too! Hope we can return one day!

Really nice house. Loads of space for 4 adults. Comfy beds, all the kitchen bits and bobs you need and a sun trap decking area that we really enjoyed for breakfast. Oxford centre is a 15-20 minute easy walk. Lots of local pubs etc on way. Pub at end of road has a lovely beer garden. Lido/outdoor pool is a 5 minute walk and would highly recommend on a warm day. Tony was very helpful regarding check in time and couldn’t fault any aspect of the stay.

The cottage was a perfect getaway for my family. There is easy access to walk to a grocery store and to the village. You can also take a bus and get to a couple of the other Cotswold villages. We didn’t have a car and still found it to be very easy to get around. We visited Stow on the Wold (by bus), Morten on Marsh (by bus), and Bibury (by uber). In Burton on the Water there are many attractions for kids as well as good restaurants and cafes. Sarah was a great host and made the cottage stay extra special!

This was booked for my son and his wife. They were greeted on arrival by Cecille, and parking was secure and exclusive. They loved the location, especially the peace and quiet , and as gate took them straight to the water at Rutland. Its was also 5 mins from a lovely pub with food.

Stayed for 4 night with my son. The place had everything we needed fot out stay. Was a lovely little place, so cosy and comfortable. Gurd was great, very helpful. Would definitely book again

Excellent location to visit The Cotswolds. Accommodation was great value for money, very modern and nicely furnished, spacious, clean and tidy with special extras - chocolates, biscuits, and dog treats and towels for muddy paws! Terry and Elaine are excellent hosts and very accommodating and welcoming - even allowing our dog access to the garden area. Definitely recommend and will also be returning. Thank you so much for a lovely Easter break.

I went there with my wife for her birthday and spent a couple of nights. The place is very serene. Apartment is impeccable and felt like home. The spa staff is awesome. They even helped me plan a surprise for my wife. The host is also very helpful and responsive.

Two years after our last stay in Binsey, we were very happy to return for another week. It was a very nice welcome, we had lovely conversations with Alison and Steve. Binsey is unique, quite, excellent if you need time to write or read. Rent a bike for journeys to Jerchio, the city center, colleges or the University hospital. We can highly recommend this place and hope to return in the near future.

Absolutely loved this place. The view out over the fields, the footpath from the door down to the river, the super comfortable bed, neat little kitchen area and thoughtful design. The village is pretty, a few minutes walk to the friendly local shop, several pubs and the beautiful, ancient, Dorchester Abbey. Great for visiting Oxford and the surrounding area.

A lovely wecoming family with a beautiful home. We had everything we needed, with a lovely stocked larder for making our own simple breakfast and they were very responsive to our needs. It was perfectly placed to visit the local National Trust properties and to also catch the train into Birmingham. In the evening we enjoyed a strolling round their gorgeous grounds.

What a delightful stay I’ve just had at The Stable. Wonderful farm surroundings. Very peaceful and secure. Rita was an amazing host and the Cottage was extremely clean and comfortable and I wanted for nothing :-)

Warm, comfortable lodge in peaceful position overlooking small, lovely wetland area. Very well appointed with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. Easy access for me with my bad knee and flat, pretty walks around the area. Simon is easy to communicate with and we loved our stay. Thank you Simon - and the welcome bottle of wine was much appreciated.

A very relaxing place had a few days off work and this helped me relax and clear my mind. Was peaceful and beautiful, jaw was on the floor when I first walked it was better than photos showed

Nena’s cottage is a hidden gem. It exceeded our expectations. The place is super cozy, squeaky clean and fully equipped to the smallest detail. The Christmas tree and welcome hamper were a kind touch that made our stay more welcoming. The location is great, surrounded by nature in the middle of beautiful Cotswolds. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.

Fabulous Stay. Lovely quirky cottage, lots of original features but with all the mod cons! The patio and garden was a real bonus and has full sun all day. The location is perfect, we hired a car but the cottage is super close to the train station, and local bus services for exploring Warwickshire. There are canal walks at the end of the road (20 minute walk to the Greyhound Inn at Sutton Stop) perfect for watching the canal boats and river cruisers. David is extremely responsive to messages and all instructions for location and access were spot on! Why book a hotel room when you can have your own space in this lovely cottage - Book with confidence!

Me and my partner absolutely loved this place. A wonderful location and the place was exactly as described. The hosts know the area well and are extremely responsive. We will definitely be coming to stay again and have told all of our Freind's! Thankyou once again

We booked the cottage as a base whilst visiting a couple of Merlin attractions. We are so glad we did, from the moment we arrived, we relaxed. The garden is beautiful, and area so peaceful. We all slept so well. In hindsight we wished we had booked more than one night.

We had an amazing time at the Cottage! The bed was super comfy, and the whole place is incredibly peaceful – perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some quiet time. The surroundings are beautiful, and Angela was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.
