Barn vacation rentals in North York Moors National Park

We had an excellent weekend staying here. We were in the area for an event at Wetherby Racecourse on the Sunday, it was a great location to get there in good time. We used a couple of takeaways in Easingwold as we couldn't find a pub/restaurant that catered for our fussy toddler. Easingwold was close by with a Co-op as well. The park which was located behind the property was great, lots to do, and well maintained. The property was comfortable with all we needed for the 3 of us. Our little one was very pleased with the basket of toys and books which was a lovely touch.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Crabtree Barn! The place was super clean, safe and had one of the loveliest views we’ve seen. The facilities including the summer house and private garden was perfect for the weather we had over the weekend. Wayne was quick to respond to any messages we sent and left helpful guide with different things to do, places to go and directions for nice walking trails. We were also celebrating a birthday and the hosts were nice enough to leave a cake (which was helpful as we had forgotten to buy one!) We will absolutely be returning and would like to wholeheartedly thank Wayne and Rachel for making our whole experience one to remember.

A truly beautiful location and a lovely cottage. We had a great week and wished we could have stayed longer. Jane was on hand with lots of local information and made us feel very much at home.

Wonderful place, as Bev says - the place gives you a warm hug. Relaxing, quiet, and perfect rest for us and our anxious rescue dog! Lovely being near the river, lots of birds and wildlife nearby. Felt right at home and hope to return again soon!

Would highly recommend to anyone! Pauline & Graham are lovely and helpful and the apartment had everything we needed. Their woodlands are a real treat, we were lucky enough to be there with sunny weather and we were free to have a picnic whenever we wanted to, an offer we gratefully accepted - we spent a lovely sunny afternoon reading and drinking tea there. Pauline & Graham are very passionate about the woodlands, their bees and the wildlife and told us about the owls, hedgehogs, foxes that occasionally visit their property. Their gentle dog Barney is a legend and loves to be pet.

Lovely location in a beautiful village. Home as described. Relaxing, well equipped, friendly host whi made us feel welcome for our one night stay. Great for Dales and North Yorks towns.

Caroline’s cottage is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable and lovely and peaceful as it is set back from the main road. Caroline kindly let us check in early which was perfect as it was the only nice day we had in the north and so were able to go out and enjoy the Moors. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are lots of extremely nice places to visit and great dining opportunities! As all the other visitors say, it is a fabulous place to stay and we would love to return if we are back in the area ! Thank you again Caroline !

Thank you to Christina and Jonathan for letting out this beautiful cottage. Everything was as it said in the description. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and easy to find. Really valued all the recommendations for eating out! Tried a couple which were excellent. would highly recommend staying here.

An absolutely lovely place and not far from anywhere like Whitby bay Robin hoods bay were all within easy reach. Beautiful surroundings and a lovely restaurant down the road called the Grainary also lovely restaurant called the plough in Scalby which is a short drive away. The owners were so welcoming and so attentive. Very dog friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

Really enjoyed the peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings. The stables are great for time away from it all. Very well looked after. Great to have have the outdoor space too.

Great stay here on this lovely remote farm. Place was perfect for us, a couple and a dog for a one night break. Hot tub was great to sit in, listen to the sheep and watch the swifts flying in to feed the chicks.

Barry was great host and nothing was too much to ask. Made booking very simple and replied promptly to all questions asked. Very accommodating. The Piggery was exactly as described and made for a fantastic peaceful break.

Everything in this apartment is good quality. From the kitchen equipment to the linen, mattress, pillows, water pressure, coffee, literally every thing. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The later than usual check out was so helpful and the welcome basket was an incredible touch. There was even a little dog blanket which our mini dachshund immediately took a liking too. We cannot fault this apartment and can highly recommend.

Beautiful and secluded. Great for a few days away for pure peace and quite with beautiful walks nearby. Very roomy with a good kitchen as well.

We spent two lovely nights in the butterfly cottage. Bruce and Anita were gracious and helpful hosts, providing information and suggestions about what to do and where to go. Walks from the cottage were abundant when weather permitted. Treats left by Anita were appreciated and devoured! Cottage was clean, warm, comfortable and cozy. We will come back if we are traveling in the area again. Highly recommend butterfly cottage.

This accomodation is in a great location so peaceful with amazing views. It is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Lots of goodies left by the host for us to enjoy which were much appreciated. Although next to the hosts property while she was available If needed she respected our privacy and we enjoyed sitting on the private patio at the back looking at the stunning view. We would certainly recommend this Airbnb.

Hi Cath Thank you for a lovely stay in your gorgeous barn. It was perfect for our needs and we had a really lovely time at Bramham. Our horse did well cross country - clear over a big course, but he had 3 show jumps down - not his forte!! I hope your grand-daughter got to see him. What a find! We had such a wonderful stay at this peaceful cottage in near Hebden Bridge. From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of calm. The cottage itself is stunning – beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The interior is gorgeous – thoughtful touches throughout, making it feel very much like a home away from home. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (plus an amazing sauna!) Carolyn and Brian were friendly responsive host and made sure we had everything we needed. We particularly appreciated the quiet location, which allowed for truly restful nights. It's a pleasant walk into town, making it easy to enjoy everything Hebden Bridge has to offer, while still feeling secluded. We can't wait to come back!

Charming and full of character, with fabulous pool and hot tub. Loved our stay with family. Granddaughter filled with excitement throughout our stay.

Beautiful Cottage in a great location. All amenities you needed where catered for. Lovely decor and furnishings. A real home from home with nice touches like a small welcome pack and tea and coffee provided. We had a great time. Very relaxing and Clare the host is so helpful and friendly. Had a lovely night in this beatifull and peacefull location. Local places such as pubs/restaurants are not walkable but only a short drive gives lots of choice. We went to the spotted ox in tockwith throughly enjoyable Would definitely stay again :)
