If you're looking for a hike, there are some beautiful spots nearby: – Tiilikkajärvi National Park (approx. 30 minutes): trails of various lengths through the forest and along the water. – Älänne: A peaceful area with marshes, ridges, and lake ridges. – Couples tour: A ridge trail that ends at a lookout point overlooking the lake scenery. – Pisavuori: A short but steep climb to the observation tower. Ranta-Mäntylä

Welcome to relax in the lap of the forest! Ranta-Mäntylä is located on the shore of a beautiful and fishy lake (Kallavesi), in the midst of nature, in the yard of our home, just a 25-minute drive from the cities of Kuopio and Leppävirta. The property includes two buildings. The heated cottage comfortably accommodates two people. There are sleeping places for two in the sleeping barn during the summer. Guests have access to a grill, a sup board, and a rowing boat. An additional fee for using the hot tub. Please book a hot tub in advance.

This traditional log cabin offers a peaceful hideaway right on the shore of the lake. Carved from thick logs, the cabin exudes peace. The cottage has a high living room, a reserved fireplace, a kitchen, a spacious wood-burning sauna with benches and a shower, a dressing room, a toilet, a sleeping loft and a bedroom, a covered porch and a separate sauna for post-sauna cooling. In summer, the place has the special feature of the cowbell ringing in the adjacent, fenced forest pasture when a small herd arrives at the beach to drink.

The cottage overlooks a beautiful and illuminated lighthouse. The cottage was built in 2002 and has been well maintained. The property is a regular cottage, not a hotel. Ideal for summer and winter accommodation. There is a rowboat on the beach.
