It is easy to relax in this peaceful vacation resort. I live in the yard myself, but I can be elsewhere during the rental period. Possibility to spend the night in the shed and spend a summer day/evening heating the beach sauna and relaxing in the hot tub. There is the possibility to use the grill. In the shed, there is a coffee maker and a small refrigerator that can hold a few cold items. There is electricity for the sauna and the shed. Outdoor toilet. There is an additional charge for the hot tub. Availability for the selected dates and the price for 2 nights cannot always be requested separately.

Log cabin by the lake + sauna. Summer cottage

A 1.5-story cottage on an organic slope with pine forest. There is a terrace in front of the cottage. Beach sauna, outdoor toilet, and docks. Cold drinking water/electricity. Road to the property. Also for the owner's own use. The cottage is not a luxury cottage. The guest must consider the impact of natural conditions on safety and understand the hazards on the lake shore. The host is not liable for accidents. The guest must have their own travel and liability insurance. Please read all the house rules before making a booking request.

Guest cottage in the yard

A cozy cottage in the yard of a detached house, yet your own peace. Good public transport. The cottage has a small room with a dining table, a fireplace and one double bed. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the life of a small Siberian husky herd in the yard of the house. Our dogs stay in the fenced backyard adjacent to the cottage, so the accommodation is not suitable for small children. During the snowy season, you can also ask about the possibility of a small sled dog ride in the beautiful winter landscapes of Northern Savo.

Hirsimökki Hietanen

Hietanen is a log building made for summer use, which moved to Hietasalmi, a peninsula between two lakes, in the 1970s. At the tip of the peninsula there is a sandy beach. The forest areas around the plot belong to the Vehkala farm. The terrain is undulating, small-scale moraine land, which in some places changes into rock or wetter depressions. Nearby you will find all types of forests. There is no real swamp in the area. A boat route runs through the strait from Vesantojärvi towards Rautalammi. The water is particularly good for canoeing.

Book now! We live permanently on the shore of Haukivesi. Here you can sauna, swim, and also have a peaceful night's sleep, accommodation 2 rooms 13 and 7 m2 heating/cooling, refrigerator, microwave, electric plate, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. Dishes and utensils needed for dining. Beds including sheets and towels. The washing machine €5/wash also includes washing and rinsing agents. You will have access to a shower, sink and compost toilet, a rowboat and 2 canoe boards. In addition, a hot tub/barrel is 50€/stay.

Room with sauna and hot tub

Here you can enjoy the heat of the wood-fired sauna and relax in the outdoor hot tub. In the apartment you have a 140 cm double bed, dining table, dressing room with washing facilities, toilet, fridge, microwave and kettle. The property also has a carport with electric car charging (extra charge). The apartment is located in the courtyard of a detached house, in a separate building. Good outdoor terrain for hiking and frisbee golf, among other things. Linens and towels will be provided, as well as a hot tub and sauna.

Sunset lakefront old-growth forest guesthouse

This guesthouse was newly-built in 2024 with comfortable amenities ( e.g indoor WC and shower). It is located in the middle of old-growth forests, in a private bay & a calm lake with sunset view. A place, is meant to “adopt the pace of nature”, offers real retreat from hectic life. The rate includes use of hot tub, SUP board, and rowing boat (May to October). Two terraces for your own use: one with roof cover for BBQ and summer kitchen; the second is for hot tub, fireplace, hammock and fishing.

Tulimetsän Kylä

Tulimetsän Kylä is a cozy recreation complex surrounded by Finnish forest on the shore of a picturesque lake. There are two separate houses on the property: Tulisydän Huvila (the main house for up to 6 guests) and Tuliaalto Mökki (a summer cottage for up to 7 guests). Here you will find silence, privacy, and the true nature of Finland. A perfect place for families, groups of friends, and anyone who wants to enjoy a vacation by the lake.

Villa Kontula B&B

Villa Kontula is a cozy accommodation for two people in a sauna building built in the 1950s. During your visit, you can enjoy the steam of a traditional Finnish sauna and sit on the terrace in the evening. You have the opportunity to book a rich breakfast in advance for €10/person. Hosts live in the same yard. A new feature in 2026 is the air heat pump installed in Villa Kontula. This allows for comfortable and restful sleep.

Kanavanrannan guest house, air conditioning, WI-FI

An atmospheric and cozy place on the shore of the canal, where you can relax by the fireplace or under the starry sky, play Monopoly or read. In the summer, you can swim in the canal or paddle board and admire the cruise ships passing by. Cooling is done with an air heat pump. The paddle board is for one person. Here you can also get ice cream in the freezer or grill on the terrace.

Semi-detached apartment

A small cozy room on the lake, equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Spacious private terrace overlooking the lake allows you to enjoy the beautiful nature. The cottage is located in the Lossisaari Tourist Center, which offers a wide range of services: from dining in a restaurant to various types of leisure activities on the territory of the center and more!

Recently renovated apartment, on the second floor of the property. Equipped with a double bed, shower, stove, TV, fridge, washing machine and basic necessities for personal hygiene. Small and compact apartment directly on the road 5. Suitable for couples, as well as lone travelers.
