Vacation rentals with lake access in North Savo

We're staying with Martin again. All-round perfect accommodation close to Kuopio city center. In a quiet area in front of the lake. The apartment has everything you need. Well, beds, sauna, well-equipped kitchen, yard and great pictures to admire. We will definitely come back to Kortteri on our future trips to Kuopio.

My wife and kids loved it. You'll need to stop by in the summer, so you can take a dip from the yard sauna.

Absolutely wonderful modern cottage with all the amenities, neatly cleaned. Additional points for stylish decor! Calming and beautiful environment, very relaxing and comfortable place. The owners patiently answered several questions almost immediately. There is only one toilet in the main house, which can be a bit challenging for a larger group, but using the additional toilet in the sauna building during the summer was effortless. All in all, a wonderful place and experience, thank you very much!

Great cottage in a great location. Great scenery, clean water, peaceful surroundings, and the lakeside sauna got the best steam you can imagine. The perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Small house with all the normal amenities. Particularly stylish sauna and laundry room. A good double bed and even an adjustable large table for remote working. The host couple was kind enough to greet us and show us around. There was even a tarp for the car. Recommended!

The host came to say hello, the welcome was friendly. I loved the wood sauna!

Nice place to spent a weekend with a family

Such a cozy cabin and a beautiful view on both sides! Saw the northern lights after sauna and it was really the cherry on top. ♥️ the cabin was perfect!

On a work trip in the area. Great accommodation, cooking in the kitchen, and a good night's sleep in the bedrooms.

Check-in was flexible. We were able to adjust the given time to an earlier time as needed. Markus greeted us and showed us the apartment and everything that was included. Like using the sauna and the washing machine. The garage had a direct elevator to the residential floor, which was a great thing when the heavy rain arrived in Kuopio. On the balcony, we spent most of the time admiring the beautiful harbor view. It will probably be nice later in the fall, when the lights are on. Everything was clean and neatly arranged.

Nice, small and well-equipped apartment. Balcony nice summer room! Good location next to the Archipelago Town Canal. Communication with Anu is smooth and fast. I recommend it!

Perfect listing! It was better than the photos suggested. Even though it was a Venetian weekend, we were left alone for the entire long weekend. On the pier, we were able to admire the Isokoskelo family and the swan couple with their child. The water was clean and clear, the steam in the lakeside sauna was great!

Our group of seven spent four nights at Miia's cottage on the shores of Linnansaari National Park. We had an excellent time! The main cottage is on the small side for seven, the three kids were going to sleep in a loft space but with the noise challenges of lofts we elected to have them sleep in the sauna cottage, which has a beautiful sleeping space. We took full advantage of the ping pong table, darts, hot tub and sauna(s). We also rowed over to nearby islands several times (tons of mushrooms growing over there!). There were no other people nearby, really, so it felt very private. The back deck is perfect for lounging and eating meals when the weather is good. Miia helped us find a local fishing guide and gave us other helpful recommendations. We popped south to Savonlinna one day to walk the town and have a meal. All in all, we highly recommend a stay at Miia's!

A perfect small mökki for a summer getaway! With a private access to the lake with sand, great sauna, barbecue spot and a beautiful forest with loads of blueberries and wind strawberries around. It's maybe better for someone with a car, because the closest grocery store is 6km away, and to get drinking water you have to boat 2 km, which was not a problem for us, but the boat and bikes at the property were not in the best state, but still usable. The house has everything you need, but is very small -- I feel like even though there are technically 3 sleeping places, 3 adults will use up all the oxygen at night ) but for 2 adults or 2+1 kid it's perfect. We felt very rested afterwards! There's also a very nice hiking trail nearby.

Quiet and secluded. Rey good amenities. Responsive and friendly host. The only negative is that it’s a 40 minute drive on unpaved roads once you leave the highway.

The location and the place were wonderful. The house in itself was huge and therefore a very convenient place to stay for our group. The furniture and the equipement were all very fine. Furthermore, the place is located directly to the bank of a river, with a very nice view. It was a very nice and enjoyable experience that we would definitely recommend.

We spent a weekend at Sanna’s place and it served our family of five well. Very calm and peaceful place right by the lake. Cabin is well equipped and functioning.

One of the better experiences for sure. The value for money was excellent — everything was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. Would definitely book again
