Etenkin, Etelään ja Pohjoisen matkaajien suosiossa ollut pieni mökki, löytyy aivan Oulun lentoaseman kupeesta, mutta silti luonnonhelmasta. E75 tieltä yöpymään, vaivattomasti ja nopeasti. Matka mökille kulkee Oulunsalon kylän läpi, joten ruokaostoksetkin hoituu samalla tarvittaessa. Tulit sitten, lentäen, junalla tai autolla, tämä mökki löytyy läheltä. Because of the location outside all the city lights, this is a perfect location to see the northern lights. The best chances to see the the northern lights is during a clear sky without clouds. There are also different forecasts that you can guugle to estimate the possibility of seeing northern ligts. There is a monument of silence built near by.

Oltiin mökillä joulunseutu 2019 ja nyt uusinta! Majoittaja-Pentti oli hurjan avulias ja jeesasi aina kun oli tarve, myös täysin omasta aloitteestaan, mistä jäi kyllä todella hyvä fiilis. Lapsettomana pariskuntana mukavan rauhaisalla paikalla sijaitseva mökki oli meille sopivan kokoinen ja viihdyimme mainiosti. Vahva suositus!

Sabrina goes above and beyond for her guests, and truly made our stay one to remember! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and quick to share her insights to help us make the most of our short stay. We especially loved the wonderful breakfasts she prepared and attention to detail in accommodations! I had wanted to see a Finnish squirrel since arriving in Finland, and as we pulled in there was one eating at her feeder ☺️ lovely getaway in a fascinating part of Finland.

The most incredible host from booking right through to leaving. I had issues with my payment which Hans was so lovely about, he set up decorations and a little surprise for my husband on arrival as we were there for his 30th birthday and booked dinner reservations for us. Nothing was too much hassle for him, he always replied very quickly and i felt confident that if we had had any issues he would have sorted it out straight away for us. The accommodation was magical! It was so peaceful amd cosy, just felt like we were tucked up in our own little corner of the world. The views over the lake weather we were in bed, the hottub, or sauna were incredible and watching the aurora dance overhead was just better than I can describe. Everyone should visit this beautiful place once in their life ❤️ Thankyou Hans for the most perfect airbnb experience we've ever had!

Der Aufenthalt bei Alexandra war super schön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alex hat für uns die Husky Fahrt gebucht, die Sauna vorbereitet und einen Grillabend mit uns gemacht. Die Umgebung ist perfekt um ruhige Abende zu verbringen und die Ruhe fernab von Trubel zu genießen. Die Übernachtung bei Alex ist absolut empfehlenswert! Immer wieder gerne!
