Great stay at Jennie’s house. Loved the location for Sherwood Forest, Nottingham Castle and the Tramway Museum. Kids loved the garden and hot tub and the beds were comfortable. Would recommend.

The cottage was beautifully and tastefully decorated and equipped with modern kitchenware and thoughtful touches. Lucy was very flexible regarding our early arrival time and talked us through our concerns about the hilly nature of the walk down to the river. Our neighbours and everyone in the village was friendly with tea rooms and pubs and shops all within walking distance. The 10 minute drive to Bakewell and larger supermarkets was easy. Parking was not always easy but we usually found a space and if not, found the Car Park available about 5 mins walk away for a suggested contribution. June 21-28 was Well Dressing week - same time of year every year - and we wish we had been aware of this when we booked. We loved our trips to nearby Eyam, Edale, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Buxton and Matlock. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

What a lovely cottage! The views were spectacular! My daughters and I took many pictures of the countryside and of the adorable sheep grazing nearby. The cottage was perfect for resting up and refreshing between our trips to the Chatsworth House and Gardens. We have just stayed here for our honeymoon, eckington is so beautiful!! it’s a great little lodge to stay in & the hot tub is an added bonus and great after long days of walking etc. it was a good hub for all the outside activities most places like chatsworth, Bakewell, hardwick hall, Matlock and so on were between 20-40mins drive away so perfect for the day trips out. There were some lovely pubs and a little Italian in the village & Aldi is literally around the corner to stock up the fridge! The lodge itself was very clean, and a well equipped kitchen for at home meals/lunch making for days out. The only addition I would say that a spare blanket would be lovely for when chilling on the sofa! Rebecca was wonderful and anything you needed she was more than happy to accommodate! Would 100% recommend for a doggie or non doggie holiday away 🦮🐶

The house was beautiful, and if possible exceeded our expectations. We were blessed with weather much better than that predicted, and were therefore able to take advantage of the close proximity of the property to Bakewell town, the Monsal Trail and enjoy the views from the patio at the property. We look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful location no problems everything you need loved our stay

Beautiful caravan in a stunning location Ashbourne heights caravan park is lovely, very well maintained. Spotlessly clean throughout, comfortable and cosy, decking with chairs is a great addition especially with the weather we had. Walking from the door step, we did Thor’s cave circular and stepping stones, tissington trail is just off the site entrance so no need to drive anywhere. Honestly one of the best family weekends we have had will be booking again in the future ❤️

Beautiful cottage set in wonderful grounds with a playhouse for the little ones. The pool was great too. Such a great place to stay, and under 10 minutes from Ashbourne. Around 30 mins to kid friendly hiking/walking in the Dales. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay in Michelle and Marks place. A good location to get out on our bikes on the Tissington Trail with the kids. The kids also enjoyed the freedom of using the park area with other kids and plenty of places to walk the dog. A trip out to Carsington Water and Bakewell completed the stay. Fantastic responsive host. .

Loki's Lodge was amazing. Sarah really went above and beyond with all the bits she includes in the accommodation to make your stay home from home. It was spotlessly clean, really comfortable and so nice I forgot it was a static caravan. Sarah added so many lovely touches, including a goody box for the dog with everything you could need. Will definitely be back again! Thank you!

Fabulous place - we stayed for a week - with 2 teenagers, a preteen and our dog - great field opposite to run the dog morning and evening. Plenty of beautiful walks straight from the front door. 45 minutes to nearest place to eat out. Facilities were great - lots of swimming and football played by our kids. Thanks for a great stay.

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and there was plenty of space for all 8 of us (and our dog!). The area is stunning, very quiet with plenty of nice walks. The pool/games room area is shared with the other cottages, which wasn't made clear when booking. We thought it was part of our cottage, which we were slightly disappointed to find out this wasn't the case. However, overall we'd still consider staying here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

A lovely stay! 6 adults and 3 dogs stayed here and we had plenty of space. The lodge was comfy and clean and had everything we needed! Lovely location with lots of walks but also really close to Bakewell and Buxton!

Very walkable location! We stayed here because of chatsworth house and kept saying how much we love the area! The kitchen was stocked with essentials. The stairs were a little steep but nothing we couldn’t handle with a little bit of caution and the railing. Absolutely lovely stay! Thank you!

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my stay with Jane. Such a genuine warm welcome, and the barn was beautifully decorated and equipped. Some lovely surprises to discover on arrival, I will 100% be returning. The weather was perfect for June, so my collie and I enjoyed many walks direct from our door. Don't dither Just Book It. We have just spent a fabulous week and found Karin and Tim to be excellent hosts. The house itself is absolutely wonderful- beautifully furnished and thoughtfully set up to ensure guests have the best time. Karin and Tim are very responsive and nothing is too much trouble. We loved it so much we’re returning next year, that in itself speaks volumes.

Great little cottage in the heart of the Peak district, perfect for our family to use as a base to explore Mam tor, Castleton, Bakewell and the Monsal trail. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare, so would recommend using the gravelled space behind the gates.

Great private space, very clean and all the linen smelt lovely, nice touches with the bathroom bits and wine and milk in the fridge :) Comfy bed and nice to have a bit of secure space to park the car and for the dog!

we have just spent 5 days there would recommend it.Dan was very helpful .The house is very central for exploring the Peak District and is a nice walk into Chesterfield about 20 minutes, plenty of pubs to choose for meals .

This is an excellent 2 bedroom airBnB, exactly as the description and photos. easy parking on end of street. great location for peak district & chatsworth house. walking distance to lidl supermarket 3 min drive to morrisons, several local takeaway and restaurants, and frankly Chestfield town centre is walkable if you wanted, bigger. the house has everything you need l, freeview TV and good wifi. quite a steep staircase is the utterly only thing anyone could have a bad thought about. totally recommend this venue for a family of 4 with 2 kids and 2 adults.
