Bryony’s place is just magical. It had everything we needed and more. The view and the wrap around verandah were what stood out for us. Having small people, it meant they were safe when they were playing outside, which meant we could actually relax and enjoy ourselves. The kitchen was really well equipped and we appreciated the little things we didn’t have to pack such as oils, coffee, dishwashing tablets and shampoo etc. The house was extremely comfortable for a large party of 9 as we were able to retreat to different areas of the house when needed. It would be even better if there was a vacuum and a mop so that we could adequately clean up after ourselves. We had the most enjoyable time and hope to book again.

It was very enjoyable long weekend away at Wayne”s place. All about place was exactly what we wanted and expected;very clean, quiet, comfortable.We enjoyed long walks in beautiful nature and surrounded little towns, local food and shops… Our host(s) made it even more lovely being friendly and letting us know their availability if we need anything. Also, we experienced a heavy rain and couldn’t go out one of the evenings, but we had plenty books to choose from and the huge tv with Netflix and more. We consider to come back.Thank you Wayne. This airbnb is a hidden gem of a place! Julie truly went above and beyond with all the amenities in the kitchen including a huge variety of tea and coffee-she also provided us with milk as well as snacks such as cookies and Easter chocolate. We also loved the 2 kayaks that were so easy to take to the marina which was just steps away from the house. The bathrooms were impeccably clean and TV also came with Netflix. Julie has truly thought of everything we could possibly need for a great stay and my family was extremely impressed. Definitely one of the best airbnb experiences I've ever had. Thank you Julie!

our first stay at Hawks Nest and we would definitely recommend this stay. The location is perfect to walk to either surf beach or Jimmy's Beach on the Bay. IGA a few minutes walk so easy. Our favourite aspect was the Privacy of the place and having the front verandah which was like an extended living area....the bird song is so lovely. Our doggo was well and truly safe and secure in the rear courtyard with lawn. Or we tied him up out front lawn area whilst we relaxed on the verandah. The inside space is clean, tidy and presentable.
