At the cabin you will find fantastic hiking trails and popular mountain tours. Direct access to spectacular nature. The view from the cabin is outstanding, mountains and the ocean on all sides.

In the heart of Raftsundet, on the border between Lofoten and Vesterålen, lies Fagerbakkveien. A cozy, warm, family-friendly cabin with 8 beds divided into 2 bedrooms and a loft. Bathroom, kitchen, living room, and spacious porch. Wood stove and heat pump. The cabin is located in sunny terrain with a lovely view of the sea. Many unique, sheltered beaches and a unique hiking terrain. Fishing and hunting opportunities. 6 km to the nearest 24-hour store. Road to the cabin is cleared in winter. Easy parking.

Enjoy with your loved one or good friends at this cozy place between Svolvær and Kabelvåg. Fantastic hiking opportunities right outside the door, a walk in the field on foot or skiing in our mighty mountains or just enjoy the view over the sea, the possibilities are there. Have a base here if you are going to ski, shops and restaurants are 5 min away by car. Museum and the aquarium are 2 km away. Have a base here and drive around and enjoy all the great nature and food experiences Lofoten has to offer.

Steigen Lodge Sjøhytte Våg no. 1

We want everyone to experience nature as closely as possible. Therefore, we have built three small cabins/houses, with large glass surfaces everywhere, so that you can sit inside and enjoy the mountains, the horizon, the sea, the sunsets and the midnight sun. Now it's not always sunny on the island, so we have a nice sofa, which can be daybed too, for moments when you want to sit inside under the blanket, look at the rain and the wind, but still get a great experience of the changing nature.

Gammelstua - The Tidehouse

This home has stood by the sea since the late 1800s, shaped by weather, tides and generations before you. Carefully restored, it blends original timber walls with modern comfort. Large windows open towards mountains and open water, letting light and silence set the pace of your stay. With three bedrooms, generous living space and a wood-fired hot tub under open skies, this is a place to slow down, reconnect, and experience Lofoten at its most calm and authentic.

Charming Nordland house

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. Here it is quiet and relaxing - and you may hear your own heartbeat. The timber walls from the late 1800s stop time and let you fill with peace and new energy. You can choose to hike up to Svartdalsvatnet, Sundsfjellet, Hestdalstuva, or you can take a walk down to the sea. You can choose to go inland in Sundsdalen and sit by Sundselva. You can go to Alpøyvika or just sit quietly on the terrace and read a book.

Lofoten Cabins 1 - Lower area

Our four cabins are newly built in 2023. They are of a high standard, fully equipped and each with huge windows and a balcony to take in the spectacular views of the water and surrounding mountains. The cabins are located in Hopen, which is conveniently situated between Svolvær and Henningsvær. They are close to everything Lofoten has to offer, such as mountain hikes, beaches, skiing, fishing villages, cute cafes, galleries, museums and so much more.

Welcome to Lofoten and our home! Our new home (2019) is located a short 15 minute walk from the center and shops of Kabelvåg, and we think it is an ideal base for any exploration of Lofoten. After years of travel ourselves, we have taken care to set up the house with practical and personal touches, and you should find what you need to be comfortable while away from home. We next door, and would be happy to welcome you to our part of paradise.

It's situated in the middle of Lofoten with easy access to numerous tourist destinations in Lofoten by car.
