Country cottage in the northwest of S.Miguel, with views to the ocean, the mountains and the fields. An option for those who want to explore the main attractions of the western part of the island, but wish to stay off the beaten track. PLEASE NOTE THERE`S A CAT living in the cottage (she's an INDOOR/OUTDOOR CAT) and it might not be suitable for those who are allergic or don't like cats. The cottage is relatively secluded in a rural environment with farms, animals and all that comes with it.

Waterfall Life: Secluded Nature-Immersion

"Immersion into nature" at its most literal definition. You'll have your private paradise in nature. Surrounded by waterfalls (2), wild plants, flowers, rocks, birds and even some fish. A soundtrack—the water streaming down from two sides of the property—will follow you into your sleep. Everything is aimed at minimizing distraction from the intrinsic beauty of nature, you'll be in your own bubble, yet a small village market and a bar are conveniently located less than 100mt. (300ft) away.

Chestnut tree

Welcome to Castanheiro. Our property is a recently refurbished house built around a century old chestnut tree. A spacious terrace offers a panoramic view of the Santa Cruz Bay. It is conveniently located in Lagoa and within a 3 min walking distance to the ocean . A stroll to natural swimming pools will take you 10 min. The house was lovingly restored to maintain its original stone features. A perfect place to enjoy with family and friends as it comfortably accomodates up to 6 people.

Chimney Houses II - Eco Country Lodge

The Chimney Houses are the recovery of an old traditional house. They were carefully created to promote a rural experience in a typical home, in a modern and comfortable environment. Consisting of three independent houses, it also has a large garden with a swimming pool, a small vegetable garden and orchard and a porch with a barbecue (shared by all guests). The view is stunning, with the sea and mountains within sight. Tranquility reigns. Here... we've been very happy.

Stone House - Garajau T2

This house features an outdoor swimming pool and two balconies with sea views. It consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a mezzanine with two single beds, a bathroom, a common room with a kitchenette equipped with a 4-burner stove, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator. Bed linen and bath towels are provided. The rental includes a cleaning service with replacement of bed linen and bath towels twice a week.

The house is completely integrated into the surrounding nature, and from the interior of the house you're able to see stunning landscapes in all directions, such as the sea in front of the house and the mountains that begins in the garden. You can also witness all the splendor of nature during a bath in the pool that the house has to offer. The most present sound is the singing of birds by day and crickets at night.

Casa do Forno offers a cozy area with living room and equipped kitchen, marked by the recovery of the stone that surrounds the oven and the original chimney (these only decorative). The house, with a good level of equipment and decoration, also has two double bedrooms - one with contemporary furniture and the other with vintage furnishings - and private sanitary facilities.
